Title.
It’s annoying that bloodlust, heals, totems and buffs just doesn’t work
I legit don’t recall it was a thing, could be though.
They sell gold, hence its not true wotlk anymore anyways.
And now you’re at it, fix WG target heals etc, it’s rather annoying to not being able to buff etc.
And please i don’t want to hear, you can just flag yourself. stop its flawed imo.
I support this!
My heals hits 3 out of 5 members which is pathetic.
…and then if they died they are like “no heals?!”
Well, petition to Blizzard and /pvp to turn pvp off as soon as you join a dungeon group or since u start queing.
Forcibly removing pvp tag in dungeons would be abusable, unless the tag was restored after the player exits the dungeon. It would essentially let gankers instantly untag after killing someone.
@Daigar: Well, manually turning PvP off lasts 5 minutes. Forced removal MIGHT work, if it trigged on being IN dungeon AND entering combat. So at the very minimum one would have to wait in queue and play a pack of mobs (, which could admittedly be less than 5 minutes, but it would be something…) so it would be less useful for gankers.
Fighting a pack is something, assuming a player cannot exit the dungeon while in combat (I don’t know if it’s possible, haven’t tried it). That would limit this method’s usefulness to rogues and hunters who can exit combat immediately after entering it.
The queue doesn’t really come into it, since you can gank someone after your queue pops but before the timer on joining runs out. I think a similar method was sporadically used back in Classic with battleground queues (but it had less of an impact, since the player using it would exit the battleground at the battlemaster and had to trek all the way back to his hunting grounds).
@Daigar: You are correct on single attack level, but one can not requeue with dungeon deserter, which lasts more than 5 minutes. So the end result would depend on the ganker. Oversimplified, single ganks might get “easier”, but serial ganking would be forcibly forced down in speed OR subject to still being flagged and outside (as ganker’s choice).
the best solution would be that having pvp on or off has no effect on pve instances and can share buffs. but guess that would be to much a hassle to fix for blizz
They had it in retail where you’re unflagged immidiately after entering a dungeon. Should be easy enough to implement though I imagine it’ll be Cata before they consider it.
Good point, forgot about deserter.
Im all for this, Wild growth isnt healing everyone it supposed to heal.
And in 80% of the RDF dungeons i cant even put a Rejuv on a player because it says “invalid target”
Come on Blizzard fix your bugs.
edit:
So annoying to flag yourself off from pvp when you’re playing on a pvp realm
