Please give a way out of the puzzle quests in Nazjatar

Look, i give up okey. I see all the intertwined ley lines i should pull apart, and it just makes me wanna leave. Don’t get me wrong, i enjoy a challenge, but there’s only specific puzzles i care to solve, and daily quest puzzles are not one that’s very intriguing at all.

You know what kind of quests are nice? The one where you jump on the jellyfish, that one was super fun for me. I even liked the Kirin Tor ones in legion, where you go through a parcour of some sort. The prequest for Mechagon was cool too, where my character attached the strings to the electric pillars or w/e they’re called.

But puzzle quests for a daily reward…and in this way? I really just can’t.

I’ve successfully avoided mobile games until the release of this patch, where i immediately realized i was facing a mobile game as soon as the quest assumed i already knew what to do with the runes, except i didn’t.
I asked in my guild for help, and the moment they mentioned “it’s like candy crush” i knew why i felt such a deep seated hatred for that quest.

I finished it fast anyways, but i really didn’t enjoy it. There’s a reason why i play WoW! I wanna at least play with my class, aside from a couple exceptions, but please… don’t make those exceptions be mobile game puzzles, or the ley line thing with too many lines. It’s not fun. It’s not the type of gameplay i seek from WoW, where i interact with my character first and foremost no matter what i do.

Even jumping into a vehicle is much better than just facing that puzzle screen suddenly. If you wanna make a puzzle, why not make it in the style of the Kharazan chess event? I soloed that one many times, and it’s actually fun and makes you pay attention as you choose your champions each turn wisely.

But as it is now, there’s not even an escape route option out of this dreadful quest. Do i need to relog to get out of the puzzle screen?
Please, at the very least, let me miss out on the rewards of the quest and let me run far away if i don’t feel like doing the quest. Just like I’m already doing with pretending the island table doesn’t exist.

Just rightclick the buff you have while in the puzzle screen
