I wonder how much it will be playable on alts with just open world gear…

Some specs can clear a 5 mask vision with open world gear, guess it won’t be that different in thorgast. Not the highest level but definitely doable.

Can guarantee it’ll be better than that.

The powers alone turn your spec into something completely crazy (mages : blink has no cd but you’re perma slowed + blink spawn 2 mirror images + mirror image obtain additional abilities. You end up with dozens of clones fighting for you)

Pretty sure ppl will gear alts just to play thorgast.

Iirc they were pretty badly received in M+ because of balance or something. Not that it’s a bad idea to add more dungeons but it’s not worth doing it if they just end up being dead keys all xpack long.

Even Lower Kara was badly tuned . BUT Yea, but they learned from their mistakes. Mechagon tuning seems to be spot on.

I want more dungeons.

I remember Ion saying we’re gonna only get like 8 dungeons this exp.

SL = WoD 2.0 seems more and more to me.
Even plot is similar with ex warchief running to the motherbase
If there isn’t enough dungeons for m+ and general non raid progression people will quickly fade into torghasting solo = garrison camp play

I agree 8 dungeons will feel a bit short from legion and bfa but still, i’d rather have 8 dungeons with the design complexity of say Arcway, Mechagon, Court of Stars, and Return to Kara than have it be like TBC where you had 4 different dungeons in each ‘‘place’’ that all played the exact same just with different skinned mobs.

Slave Pens and the Underbog were effectively identical
So was the auchindon dungeons, mana tombs, sethekk halls, crypts etc
Mechanar, Botanica, Arcatraz

Quality over quantity

We can have both quality and quantity just like Legion.

Huh, weird. I remember him mentioning dungeons in a Shadowlands Q&A though.

M+ was more diverse in Legion.

In BFA not many options. You get bored easily.

Also in Legion we had affixes reworked/added/removed. Whereas in BFA same affixes except for the seasonal…
