Please help: Error 132

My WoW has been crashing for 2 weeks now, between every 1-4 hours. It’s error 132 “The instruction at: “0x00007ff7e5917020” referenced memory at “0x0000000000000008”.
I have tried so many different things after contacting support on multiple different occasions. I’ve used DDU to completely remove driver and reinstall the latest version afterwards. I’ve ran memtest86 3 times with 0 errrors every time. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling wow. Disabling all the intel multi core features in bios. Disabling addons. Resetting ui. Deleting addons. I’ve tried pulling ram out and reseating it. Please if anyone has had this issue before please reach out. I’m so desperate at this point.

Here’s a paste bin of the error log wow created most recently.

Have you tried with no addons?

I wonder if this is related to physical memory errors. I suggest this, because you’ve already downclocked your RAM, for what I am assuming, is stability issues.

Have you run a memory tester? Something like Memtest95?

Yeah tried with no addons

Yeah I let memtest86 run over night on two separate occasions, 0 errors on both runs

is the game running in Dx12?
if that is the case switch to Dx11.

There’s a large performance loss using dx11 compared to dx12 though. Especially in dragonflight zones.

Bump someone please help. Stopped happening after a bios update but just started to happen again today.

again switch to Dx11 since Dx12 is the one that create the crashes.
but i guess the so called performance loss is way more important for you than crashes :sunglasses:

Have you tried to run the game under DX11 as suggested by others and does it still crash under DX11?

There’s been quite a few posts over the last few weeks about people having problems with the game running under DX12, though those appear to be mostly related to AMD cards (and yours seems to be Nvidia).

Your paste bin seems to suggest a possible DX12 issue also.

If the game runs without crashing on DX11 then that may be your only solution until Blizzard fix the DX12 issue, though they are being very silent on the matter. While there may be a performance loss under DX11, at least it will be stable.

I mean when the game goes from running at 165 fps in dx12 to 45 fps in dx11 I’d certainly call that a performance loss and a huge one. No need to get cheeky. Only seeking a solution.

and the solution atm is for you to switch to Dx11 untill blizzard fix it but you dont want to do that :sunglasses:
