Walking out of the trunk city with the that arcane armor would be better? 
I am all for a "pretty only"faction, that would contain Gnomes, Goblins and Vulpera. Let the ugly races play with themselves!
Ah yes how could I forget? And remind me, what’s the major difference between the high elves and the blood elves now? There must be some big difference since they’re so similar on the surface right? Oh yes now I remember, the Sin’dorei stay away from the alliance since they turned out to be as ugly on the inside as they are on the outside.
If not for the scourge and human indecency the alliance might have had a claim to beauty. But alas, that ship sailed all the way to Orgrimmar.

To be fair, they’re high elves. Alliance or horde side, high elves would be quite popular. Even if they rename it to blood elves.
All Male elves are weird or ugly. Blood elves, void elves and specially night elves and nightbourne. They’re super creepy.
And this is saying guy who is playing ugly night elf. How some one cna thing ngiht elfs looks nice? They are abomination.
Night Elves, aka the race of the “Highborne” were playable since vanilla. Deal with it and enjoy your grumpy walmart version of the Kaldorei:joy:

And we’re talking about the RACE the Highborne consisted of. Your OP made it sound like the Alliance were salty that the Horde got the “Highborne”, but the Horde didn’t. The Alliance has them, from the beginning. The RP option was always there, lol.
Again, Highborne/Night Elves are not a separate race, mere the upper class of their society.
The upper class society aka Highborne were kicked from the society of the Kaldorei, however the Nightborne who are also Highborne were still practicing the Arcane magic within 10,000 years of isolation in the Suramar.
If you want play ugly faction, you are already right where you should be. Pick male draenei and you are ugliest creature on Azeroth and beyond!
