Just saw an interview with Ion, and he said Dracthyr “flight” would be sort of DH++… Please let us use our wings to fly like a sort of flight form, it would be so cool to be able to use our dragon wings to actually fly like with a normal flying mount or the druid flight form in zones where flight is enabled. Im not saying they should be able to do that in the Dragon Isles, im not saying they should get that advantage, but in older content and places where druidflight form and flying mounts are enabled we should be able to!

It’ll be a big let down if we don’t properly fly instead of improved gliding. Worgs have the 4 legged “mount”, so give the Dracs a flying one.

Call me crazy but I actually agree…
Worgen got the running wild form and it made perfect sense for them to do so for their mount form.
Why Dracthyr shouldn’t get the same when it makes perfect sense for them too?
Youd still be able to use your flying mount of choice regardless. And it would make a huge appeal towards the race too.

It would make more sense for them to work like DH’s to me. I don’t think allowing them flight would make sense personally.

There’s plenty of real world birds that can use their wings for lift but not for any sustained flight
These aren’t real world birds though. They’re flying lizards where even the “common” variety of flying lizard would be incapable of flight if we applied real world logic. And from the little we’ve seen thus far the ability to fly is there for certain abilities. Being restricted from using it as a worgen and/or druid thing just doesn’t seem sensible.
That’s a fair point. Comparing a fictional race of Dragon people who live in a world filled with magic and aliens and forgotten about giant swords with real life avian species isn’t fair.
Instead I’ll take an even lower road…Pitlords can’t fly either so 
“And thank goodness for that!” says all the statues everywhere.

Remember when they used to let us slowfall with wings, was a pain on some fights. I used the glyph during WoD but when we were doing the Blackhand fight and it was more of a nuisance than a help.
Warriors too! Bladestorm should generate enough lift for sustained flight
