Please let us have Reputation Tabard again

But pushing 420-430 ilvl players into world quests is okay? Why is it okay if it’s an activity you prefer but it’s not okay if it’s an activity other people prefer? I don’t see your point, sorry.

I personally have never said that. Rep has never ever been a challenge other than grinding. I want to be able to grind, not get timegated, the method can be discussed. Challenge is there for raiding, M+, PvP and the like, grinding rep is not and doesn’t need to be some crazy challenge. You’re confused because you misunderstand the stance of others.

The legion and BFA ones are outdoor content, and i like seeing people in the open world especially in War mode. Giving me a raid reputation doesn’t actually help your point you know ?

Heroic dungeons could die for all i care, their mythic versions are still the most played content in the game.

Sure i have nothing against that. All i want is to farm outdoor rewards in outdoor content, just like how PvP Gear should only come from PvP and raid rewards from raids.

The current WoW rep has turned into a cesspool anyways. Devs who don’t have a clue what they are doing storywise. Poor execution of ideas and stuff.

Previously reputation contributed to your reputation as player in the story! You did dungeons and quests to win the factions favor. You could please them by turning in items and you would unlock specific benefits or quests and it was part of the quest line.

Now the nincompoops at Blizztard HQ think reputation grind is a ‘time lock’ to keep players in the game for a long time. They are so smuck and full of themselves that they forgot the entire reason about factions. Let’s be honest most of the story lines like the Vol’Dun, Unschackled or Rustbolts are so thin even a pornscript writer’s

Thanks for the pizza but I don’t have $ 25 on me right now, is there any way we can sort this out??? hint hint

Offers more depth than these 3 factions together. I mean come on, a Mecha Gnome prince who wants to overthrow his father? He then asks a total strange and invasive faction to help him. What does he expect? To get the crown? It’s a poor idea Blizztard. Or the brilliance of Fox people who have llama’s as pets fighting hissing and stuttering catsnake-like people in a dessert.

I really would love to see really long well thought and perfectly executed and implemented questlines behind reputation gains again as this would increase the players/readers interaction with the game.

I mean I did all the questlines in BfA and so far what was the use of the Vol’Dun and how did they contribute to Uldur, BoD or Eternal Palace. The main story line is good (far from great) but it’s entertaining enough to keep playing.

Wish blizz just focused on factions that matter to the story and just make the rep gain a bit longer instead of filling it with the most boring factions that have 0 to do with the story, the races and WoW in it’s entirity.

But hey, that’s just my opinion.

How exactly are these 2 equivalent? the dungeon is the content, not the difficulty. Players of all item levels have access to dungeon content for their appropriate level.
This has nothing to do with preference and i made no statements about WQ, you moved the goalpost so far it doesn’t even belong in this thread anymore.

Sure, it makes sense when we kill kul tiras enemies as Zandalari. Should give negatieve rep.

This maybe good for M+

Must admit the current system they have of 83 (give or take 1 or two) rep per wq is a bit like having someone give you a backrub with a gauntlet covered in salted broken glass.

Absolutely yes.

I wouldn’t even mind if the grind was SLOWER, crazy I know, but at least then my reputation gain is not arbitrarily capped by a 12 hour timegate. Hell, just yesterday I was 70 rep away from Exalted with Rustbolt… But I had to wait till today to finally finish it off didn’t I?

I want to be able to spend 2-3 hours a day grinding, or maybe even dedicate a weekend to making significant progress. From an unlimited resource. I thought choice was integral to the MMORPG genre.

But I imagine the current system reminiscent of a mobile game where you have to wait, to get lives, to do levels, lest you pay… Greatly increases the daily logins.

There are a few options to this.
*Account-wide Rep
*Tabard after Revered (which gives rep ofc)
*Certain dungeons yield rep to spesific factions

What I don’t like with the WQ’s is that they serve you the same thing over and over, kill this, help the turtles that… I think they’re alright to do but over time it gets boring doing them everyday. Gotta get them emissaries tho, am I right.

I’d like a Bind on Account tabard at exalted which helps alts to catch up and mains to earn paragon caches alike.

Other than that, I don’t care much about the initial trip to Exalted. WQs are just as menial as spamming dungeons which offer me nothing.

I’d also like to see tabards giving rep again. And while we are at it, add those tokens we had in TBC. These should be in the game as a side activity with WQ’s / daily quests. I’d also like to see rep gain for normal quest rewards again, like we had earlier.

I would also like to see factions no longer being mandatory for content (AR, flying) but giving something nice worth for the grind like unique mounts or transmogs and toys. Yes, we already have these but that should be it. If you really wan’t that specific recolor of the horse, by all means grind reps to get it
