It’s horrific for EVERYBODY but the BM hunter to have a million pets on the screen.
you play its awful for 4 players and good for 1
you play arena its awful for 5 players and good for 1
you play a raid and its awful for 9+ players and good for 1.
Due to this logic where it massively negatively impacts everybody but the BM, it needs to be reduced by a singular pet.
Tbh I mained BM for years and 100% agree. I’d much rather 1 powerful pet than a zoo.
While I do like the idea of only one pet only because pet pathing and speed in combat is awful.
However, only one pet does not fit the flavor of the spec you are a master of beasts, not just a pet owner.
It’s like demo warlocks only having one demon, it’s just wrong, besides over half the pets BM hunters spawns are not even rendered for other players.
Besides, most of them can’t be targeted or interacted with by other players, so I don’t really see the issue.
Same, I did not sign up to be a zoo keeper!
I had to abandon one of my alt hunters because the “Huntmasters call” talent completly broke the fire themed vibe I had going for him.
I was begrudingly getting by with “glyph of the dire stable” as I only had fire themed pets in there, but tossing Hati and Fenryr in the mix just looked too off for me.
And for this character I’m considering either culling my entire stable now, and let my enemies drown in a swarm of Henri Snufftails, just for laughs…Or maybe just let my warrior step in as a main.
I don’t understand why the devs keep putting in non-option options like “Solitary Companion” or “Unbreakable Bond” for MM, and then don’t make them truly viable alternatives.

I used to love zoo specs but ye, I think id prefer 1 pet now. I have my Demo Lock for my many pets army playstyle anyway
They should make bm the only spec that can use pet. MM is just ranged and Surv is combination of melee and range
But Surv needs a bear for that true Rexxar playstyle!
Rexxar is beastmaster, they should make this spec melee already
