Please make every item in dungeons not soulbound

Hey so i’ve done halls of infusion on m+ mode and everytime the trinket drops it’s always soulbound and someone else gets it please fix this bs

It isn’t about soulbound. It is about not being able to trade an item that is, based on ilvl, an upgrade for the player who gets it. Actually not sure how it works for something like an upgraded 8/8 champion item and a lower ilvl hero item for the same slot drops.

But hunters and mages can’t use it and they always get it.

When it is on their loot table then they can use it. What trinket do we talk about?

The one in halls of infusion there grants a ton of strength. So it’s way better for strength users like warriors, paladins and death knights.

Without a name i can’t wowhead it. Maybe there’s a bug on the loot table.

The struggle is all “too real”… >.>

It’s called Irideus Fragment

Wowhead it. It increases primary stat. So for you it shows strength. For a mage it shows intellect. So they can use it.

it is for all users not just strength .

this ^^

Paladins should still get it we’re Azeroth’s defenders after all.

Well, that’s just RNG unfortunately.

you been away for 2 years and come back to trolling already smh…

The only problem with loot tables is Shamans being able to loot staves.

Nah but i like to make a joke there’s a difference :grinning:

The solution as mentioned above is to remove the very basic system that the game uses to determine if something is an upgrade.

Namely that ilevel isn’t king, especially with trinkets.

It’s sad to be unable to trade an item I genuinely don’t need or want but can’t because this block.

Yup that’s kinda what i was trying to explain. Like of those two times the two players there did get it and was willing to trade me it they coulen’t because it was an item level upgrade.

The other side to this block is it destroys the player control of their own items.

If an item drops for a player, it becomes that players “property” (within the realm that is applicable to WoW)

This means that the player should have every right to:

  • Use It
  • Give it away
  • Destroy it
  • Keep in their possession for any or no reason.
  • Sell it (for gold, not IRL sales, to be clear)
  • Barter it for another item they need that another player has

etc etc.

The game blocks many of these fundamental rights concerning items you “own” within the game.

True but in my case both were willing to trade me it but they coulen’t as it was soulbound.
