Please make the Twilight Witch ensemble available through the Love Is In The Air event

The title is the topic, the topic is the title.

I’m aware it’s on the shop, but it really ought to have been part of the trading post or Love Is In The Air event imo. If there was an alternative way to get it this month I think a lot of people (including myself) would appreciate it quite a lot (even if the mount isn’t available this way).

It does have that “may appear in trading post later, but no sooner than three months from now” tooltip. Which, going by previous sets that also said that, does happen. So at least you can get it at some later date I guess, but it’s probably too late for the event.

I am very dissapointed to see this as a store purchase. I’d seen it on WoWhead a little while ago and all indications were that it would be obtainable through the Love is in the air event.

As a Warlock i was keen on getting the Twilight Witch ensemble and could of been some content i could of done in game to receive it. Feels a crummy move the put the pink set on Traders Post then charge £25 for the Twilight Re-colour. Also why put the Twighlight weapons on the trading post, if not the ensemble.

I know it will eventually come to the trading post for free but they could of just added them both for tender now or make them part of the event. It didn’t need to be in the store.

Exactly this! I was really excited to get the set and start playing (one of) my paladin(s) again (especially as the colors seem to match the paladin weapons from the trading post a while back) but seeing it being seemingly shop-exclusive made me stop and re-think. I’d much prefer getting this through the event in in just about every way imaginable.

This is just the case with every shop mog, but imo it doesn’t really cut it for a valentine’s day themed mog, that’s being introduced the same month. It should be earnable through the event or trading post, not be sold as a 30 euro recolor.

You can buy online store stuff with gold you know… buy token for ~350k’ish and convert each token for €13 to your b.net balance. Hell of a lot cheaper than some ingame vendor mounts that go for a million gold or more… :stuck_out_tongue:

7m gold would cap you out at €250 in your b.net wallet.

Maybe the blue version ends up at the vendor.

It’s £25 in sterling, that’s three tokens i would need (one token gives £10 balance). Each token is around 350k gold which is over 1 million gold.

But that’s besides the point anyway.

A recent post on WoWHead suggests it will be a future trading post item… but then again they also assumed all the sets were all vendor items/rewards for the Love event when they were first datamined a month ago. So only time will tell.

After seeing what they did to Overwatch cosmetics, this is not surprising. What is surprising, is that it hasn’t happened to more cosmetics.

Considering there were like 4 different color variations of this, I really hope at least the others will be obtainable though the event

Hopefully it does aswell, but the blue one is not the black one.

So, theoretically, if it’s that easy to get you could lend me 1m gold rq?
Also that is not really the point. “You can still get it if you can grind up 2-3 tokens in a month” (said month being February) doesn’t feel like it justifies not putting it into the seasonal event itself, where it thematically belonged from the start.

Just because it’s “not surprising” doesn’t mean it’s good, though. I know that’s not what you meant, but it’s better to point it out than just going “ah well, who’s surprised?”

I really hope so too, but the point still stands that the Twilight Witch recolor really ought to be one of them.

But it isn’t. Because it’s on the shop.
So it’s not going to be part of the event.

The best you could hope for is the third datamined colour variation - the light blue ish one.

The set is apparently selling well. They are not going to change it after the fact; it would cause an absolute outrage. The only thing that could happen is it appearing on the TP some time in the future.

I’m aware of the situation, but doesn’t change that it shouldn’t have been on the shop in the first place. Because if they keep putting the most endorsed recolor of something on the shop as soon as a set like this is released, that’s gonna get really old really quick.

I like this mog as much as anyone and I’m happy for everyone who’s enjoying it, but I don’t like where Blizzard is going with this. If it doesn’t appear anywhere else this month, then I really hope it appears on the Trading Post as soon as possible, or atleast something that isn’t a full year away.

And I also hope the blue one can appear in the event, despite the supposed datamines of it. Even though a Trading Post debut isn’t quite as bad. Would just be a shame not to have any recolor of this set available through the actual event itself.

And that’s what they’re betting on: People being impatient.
You can just wait it out until it appears on the trading post. But being patient is getting less and less common nowadays. Consumerism has become more and more ‘I want it all and I want it now’.

I agree with that, yeah. The annual events really need to be spiced up more; a new saddle for a dragon nobody will be using come 11.0 isn’t going to cut it. With the amount of stuff they’re churning out for the trading post, you’d think they could manage some actual new holiday rewards.
