The auction house is already cross faction. The crafting order system is already cross faction.
Currently if an alliance player on a horde realm (or vice versa), they have to login on an opposite faction alt to request an item to craft, then having to relog to send the order and create a M+ group on group finder to be able to use party chat to communicate.
It would be a nice quality of life if all these can be avoided. Specially with cross faction guilds coming.
this actually makes perfect sense
right now we have cross faction communities created on our server so people can communicate and get stuff crafted
before that alliance used to create level 1 horde just to find a crafter…

Looks like they are slowly introducing cross faction stuff.
this probably will come soon . at this point they’re making everything cross faction i wouldn’t be surprised if people start doing quests as an orc in stormwind next year.

I crafted dozens of items for alliance players, not every single detail about this game is spelt out in a blue post. If you’re not sure and don’t trust anyone then test it yourself.
I’d rather be sceptical at first and so should you, it’s internet, people spread misinformation constantly without realizing it or not.
Also there’s a very high chance there’s a post on wowhead about crafting orders that could’ve been an easy source to prove it to me.
You seem chronically online, if you want to know if it’s true or not search it yourself.
There isn’t, but like i said you can test it yourself, or just google it, takes like 10-15 seconds.

I assume Trade Chat becomes cross faction when the remaining (manual) trading- and communication restrictions between the factions are lifted.
Horde and Alliance players can already create cross faction parties and chat via party chat. So communication is actually possible, but with a workaround. So it’s better to just lift the restriction for more convenience.
That is what I am saying, I assume those restrictions will be lifted in one go. However, getting there will require further work with the spaghetti coding. It isn’t like faction restrictions was added as toggles in vanilla, because otherwise we would have gotten cross faction guilds sooner.

They’re legit just letting people play together, which is what all we’ve always been asking for.
Even lore-wise it’s perfect because in so many case WE WORK TOGETHER. People’s favorite wrath & Warcraft 3, cataclysm, wod, legion, yes, even battle for azeroth since 8.2, shadowlands, dragonflight, I’m sure the first 2 versions of the game as well.
I don’t see why not. I’d also love if we could start seeing cross-region play, similar to how you can seamlessly play cross-region in Diablo 2: Resurrected.
