Because it’s the current expansion and there is plenty to explore and enjoy there.
Besides, if they carry on the way they are, Mists Classic will be out in 2024, so you can relive the Questline the way it was intended to be played then.

So in your opinion they should keep screwing over the lore and just keep on adding classic realms instead of fixing the game they have. making it completly pointless to start up with retail if you are interested in Lore or colecting stuff?
haha you think quests are hard coded?
Interesting, I don’t remember expressing an opinion. But in my opinion they shouldn’t remove quest lines. The rewards being removed, I understand. However I support Blizzard decision to do so, since I guess they wanted to preserve the experience of completing the questline with the questline itself, not have people just go and overpower it. The experience of playing through it is just as important as the lore itself.
People have been asking for Classic realms since Burning Crusade was released. The reason being is to continue living the experience of playing the content as it was intended. So Yes, I fully support adding Classic realms, and I would encourage any player wanting to relive removed questslines and rewards to go and play the Classic realms. It’s a really enjoyable experience.
Not completely pointless. Because there are many timelimted items to collect and the current lore is always great to keep up with.
The Classic Realms just give you the opporunity to the items and quests that were removed from the game for whatever reason.
But the main problem is still there. what we end up with when they remove questlines like the legendary from MOP and WOD big big lore removed from the game. my main issue isnt the item themself but rather the story being gone. sure it sucks that i can never kill Ordos but i still care more about the lore conected with the story. they can remove mounts. pets. and achiements but removing quests and entire story lines is just a slap in the face to the players who want to enjoy the story. your so called intended arguement dosent realy matter as it shouldnt matter if i go in and oneshots trough the bosses as a solo player. or killing them trough LFR (which was a choise back then so it wasnt a challenge at all). that they remove story from the game only adds to making the expancions feel incomplete. if i as a completly new player wants to find out how in the world i end up with Sylvanas as the bad guy i wouldnt know because the lore is removed its just gone. and thats just a real shame considering it is a game who rely heavily on Lore and not just a mobile game where you run into dungeons and get stuff thrown at you. so they should add every single quest line they have removed from the game after cata was released. this will help the game feel more complete when you level trough the story and choose to stick around and finnish. instead of it just being done and you gotta go read a book and search up videoes to get a ending
As I say, I don’t understand the removal of quest lines, other than to preserve the experience of doing the questline.
However as I pointed out, the Classic realms are alive, and Mists will come eventually. And judging by how many people are excited about it, will be very busy.
It’ll be the best way to experience the questline, trust me.
(p.s. a little formatting wouldn’t go amiss.)
Yeah, bring them back. It was a stupid decision to remove them.
They shouldn’t removed them cause it was part of the campaing in MoP and WoD
so now when you wanna finish the story of that particular expansion you can’t
I really enjoyed MoP questline i even did go to private server to do it so i can experience it
and i can tell you i really enjoyed it
did not Ion say that DF will be last xpac of wow afther that they will improve/reuse old content …
so they might add back deleted stuff or do improvments
Ehm… Cata.
2023 I imagine.
They’ve been releasing Classics every yearish.
I too want to collect 4,986 Apexis Crystals for an egotistical moronic wizard who helped usher in a third Burning Legion invasion through his antics in Draenor.
i want a level 70 thunderfury for my outlaw rogue
with a ilvl of 500

Personally I would prefer Warglaives of Azzinoth which were more of a Rogue weapon than Thunderfury which usually went to tanks.
Warglaives of Azzinoth trigers me old memories …

They’re only getting to Ulduar and Cata will probably take much longer to do. However we don’t know if players asked for a Cata in the survey they sent out.

Well I can tell you that I got a Survey and asked them not to make Cata.
Edit - Actually, I told them I want them to do the realms on a Cycle, so I could start in Vanilla and work my way through them again. Once a year the cycle should reset.
But I did note that I wasn’t interested in Cata, mists I was though.
Chromie time is suposed to be timetravel mode so besicly if u pick mop as time line the legedery quest will be avable …
