I wasn’t sure where to post this, as I’m not in the Beta I can’t give my feedback there so here I go.
In the most recent news, one of the new affixes decreases the dungeon timer by 15 seconds rather than 5 per death, and this affix is active at all times on 7+ keys. I’m a casual M+ enjoyer, who usually gets to Keystone Hero, so about 2500+ and get all the dungeon portals, and repeat this on a couple alts I’m not very interested in aiming for higher and I’m pretty sure a lot of people do the same. Friends and guild isn’t always available so we have to pug keys, and that alone often causes massive anxiety in a lot folks, because if you mess up things can end up in toxicity and people leaving the key.
Challenger’s Peril adds A LOT of extra pressure with each death costing 15 seconds, that is not needed. A full group wipe currently costs 25 seconds on the timer (obviously a lot more if you have to run back as well) but with the new affix it would be 75, that is more than an entire minute. Leavers are already a problem, but this would just increase leavers even more after a couple deaths.
I know you just came up with new affixes, and I think the 2 new ones are fine, but this one is really not needed… this would cause a lot more harm to the casual key enjoyers, than afflicted or incorporeal, and just causes harm to mental health in my opinion. We all love a challenge, but deaths having more impact than they already do is not the way to go. I’m humbly asking you to please reconsider this one!
