I understand the idea of nochanges. However, I feel like everybody would benefit in some form of scaling here. As people said, the prepatch duration is significantly shorter than it was back then. This makes it very hard to aim at any of the PvP rewards in the current prepatch. We would have hundreds of marks to delete before being able to afford the honor cost of items.
There has to be at least some middle ground here. Even if the concern was that people would farm to honor cap to buy quickly lvl70 gear, there has to be a solution.

I got a better idea, I understand 2k might be too much but make it so we get atleast 1k? That would make it fair, it makes it less which is your intent but it makes players happier kthx

No changes would mean 46 days prepatch, no boosts, no store mounts, etc. Well we got some changes, why not let us keep the honor as it was before to make up for the short prepatch? I have nothing but bad words for the guy that reported honor being too high

blizzard nerfed the amount honor u get aswell so gues nothing will be atainable now

I have NEVER complained in forums Blizz… But today …Im not interested in Pve Im pvp guys I had so much fun yesterday playing Bgs knowing I will get something of it (it wasnt free I had to play few hours to get 1 or 2 pieces of R14 gear) But today Im just disappoited…I’m giving up on this game that I love so much. It really feel like you ruining fun … Thank you for your work but you lost another loyal person.

By the way Blizzard, if you want to be nice and fix something, don’t wait 2 weeks, coz’ it won’t be relevant anymore =)
Please reduce the amount of honor needed for the gear. Seems logical you don’t want players to have 75k “easily” before reaching lvl 70. But the amount of time we have to have some fun + the low honor gains + the high honor cost of items, makes it just ridiculous.

Come on blizzard what is this nonsense. What on earth were you thinking with this change ? A casual player that plays 3 hours a day would still not been able to farm full rank14 gear untill release ? What is the point of playing BGs now ? This so bad ive been looking forward to this for months… Its was so nice to play yesterday alot came back for the PVP and que times were decreasing, i had so much fun with my guildies yesterday and today everyone just stopped because there is no point of even doing it.

Why did you have fun? Reducing honor gain is reducing your fun? Honor = fun? OKay…
Its litterally gone from “ahhh will be fun to get a couple of weapons, mess around in BGs and have abit better gear going into Hellfire” to “Why the ever living hell would I grind 130hours to get weapons i’ll replace by lvl 64”
I just don’t get their reasoning, who is it hurting by having easier honor gains?
Interesting how silent Blizzard went with this…ruining the entire pvp in prepatch for pretty much every player.

Hey there, I´ve played Vanilla WoW und also the Pre-Patch. You did get a lot of honor in that phase, i was able to obtain all Weapons on my Warrior back in the Days and i´m pretty sure i´ve never needed 30 AV wins for 1 of them. You got a lot more honor back in the days, then the simple “bonus honor” at the end of the bg.
Please double Check this, because right know, you are screwing all players, because of a brain fart…
