Please, I don’t care if it’s more convenient, nobody will convince me by telling me how convenient it is, I want to go to an NPC and queue up for BGs there and find other people who also queued to the BGs and talk to them while waiting.
I would also want this for the modern version of the game but I feel that one has been too far gone into the brain-in-auto-pilot gameplay design for it’s own good.
Please, unmake this bad decision. Convenience isn’t worth that much.
Yeah sure lets make it so that if you want to pvp you are stuck sitting in a city for the entirety of your characters life, unable to do anything while in queue!
It’s still many ppl near the battle masters. They are there cause of the quest or something. So you can still go there and see many others.
I guess they made us able to sign up from wherever we are, not cause of qol for us, but because it wasn’t good for the servers to have such a concentrated amount og ppl at the same place.
If this isnt trolling:
You think that its good to force players to stay in cities and not engage with the open world. By making them bored, you hope there will be conversations, that would be impossible elsewhere. If you were right and that was the case, it might be even better to remove the whole world and only let players wait in cities and make them wait for invites. Maybe even removing the cities and the game is a big chat lobby, where players chat with each other, while waiting for their invites.
For real though, letting players wait for battleground and dungeon content, while being free in what they want to do in the open world, is what was revolutionary about wotlk. In short Battleground queue form anywhere and RDF.
Yes, it does matter, you are nobody to tell me or anyone that, get it into your head.
It’s not “my” way, it’s the way it’s been until the change, that’s for starters alright?
What’s selfish is to cry and have tantrums over anything that’s slightly inconvenient for you because you want everything instantaneously without having to think about it.
Let’s be honest here, you are exaggerating, it’s not that bad, people would simply gather in the same place, that’s the whole thing with this.
Nah I’m not gonna take this dumb slippery slope argument seriously. Try not exaggerating things.
“Revolutionary” is a very generous way to say that it is a very convenient change.
Again, something being more convenient doesn’t make it better by quality of being more convenient, it has it’s drawbacks, and the price is not always worth paying for.
Thank you for sharing your wisdom, now i can finally play the game as i always wanted to. I agree to the dwarf a few posts higher: now i can afk out AV and be directly where i left, when i afk out as i was preparing meal irl, thanks.
Make sure you are not mounted high in the skies as it dismounts you when you are ported back and it might deal additional physical damage in addition to emotional damage you receive in AV
It does annoy me that I can just queue up from anywhere. It really does feed into the lazy EU player mindset that they can just leave and continue wherever they were doing in the world. Ironically, this is what I see as the primary reason RDF was said to be removed from WOTLK Classic.
If you have to go to a NPC to queue, the calibre of player would be better.
