Please remove the daze/slow/dismount effects

Hello everyone,

Maybe we should suggest blizz to remove the dismount and slow effects that ruin the game experience.

As an example, this morning was perfect for farming some rep and stuff for crafting. The sun was shining, i got my coffee, the ambience music in wow was pleasant as usual…
But at every freaking mob i interacted with, got slowed, dazed… dismounted… it’s freaking annoying. What is the point of this? other that annoying the players and ruin their mood to have some chill morning in wow?

Please remove it ^^

There is a Mount Equipment called Comfortable Rider’s Barding to prevent you from being dazed while mounted. (Does not work in Battlegrounds or Arenas.)
But I totally agree with you, I developed a burning hatred against the Raptora of Zereth Mortis - can’t fly a sec without agroing one - but my contempt goes to the Mawsworn who dismounts you while flying thorugh the Endless Sands
Hate this effect with passion

Yes them air raptors are next level sadistic. Can’t even go AFK for 2 mins in the wrong place. They should remove them because everyone needs a 2 min break pretty often.

And the black mobs nuking you from above even with the saddle equipped, lel

Flying creature all over the place wherever we fly is awful

I love these forums. On one hand we get people exclaiming that it’s wrong to remove something that’s been in the game since launch and another thread asking to remove something else that’s been in the game since launch.

I have to admit that I use the barding these days to be immune to the slow and stun effects but I certainly wouldn’t want to see the ability removed from ground mobs. Aerial mobs I think need to be treated differently as it is a lot harder to avoid those mobs.

I agree. Dazed is the most annoying and dated mechanic in the game. It made sense in Vanilla, but not anymore. That ability is also the primary reason why I play a Blood DK (all tanks are immune to Dazed).

exactly. forcing players into combat is pretty outdated

You’re a Hunter - feign death like the rest of us.

This. Haven’t had an issue with the mechanic ever since. I didn’t spend much time flying in SL so not sure about that one.

I am hoping that with the new zones being bigger and more open that there won’t be mobs on every square inch of ground. So we will be able to ride (with a little careful steering) relatively unharrassed.
Rmember Hellfire Penninsula where the were all those massives boars wandering around. If you just rode straight without trying to avoid them you’d end up being dazed and have to fight but if you did a little steering you’d avoid them (mostly).
Recent expansions have had narrow paths with high mob density and so avoiding fights were near impossible.
DF seems to be going back to the older style zones.

I wish that was a daze mechanic, if so I would be immune to it (tank)
I usually hover low to the ground in ZM tho, you don’t aggro ground mobs and you go under most if not all the aerial mobs threat range so thats a tip to get around those specifically.
You need to be a bit more on hands with hills and slopes but it beats having to waste a CD on not falling to your death

My druids feel discrminated against as we do not have the benefit of the riders barding and can get dazed. This is not acceptable at all.
