I dont know if this was subject before. But i really enjoyed my garisson. I mean it was a top noch. Even legion had war table just like bfa but still garrison was different i enjoyed it.
I had my private single player utopia and i felt like a dwarven captain in it.
I only wished that garrison was more centered around main faction capitals. For example barrens if you are horde or westfall for alliance.
I dont know why people complained so much about it. It was a awesome content. And they could have upgraded it every expansion with new skins and new ideas.
I wish they bringed it back. It was cool and fun.

they should redo the entire garrison/player housing idea.
Because garrisons were pretty horrible. they provided way too many free resources and gold and you never had to leave your garrison at all.
It was a good idea but horribly done
edit: maybe atleast some guildhalls?

Would love player housing… something players can tend to regardless of expansion, with new collectibles and crafts to use for it come every expansion. Purely cosmetic, zero gains that the Garrison had.

You are preaching to the choir here… i have 8 garrisons in full bloom. Only i don’t sell my bags, i use them to furnish my constantly refreshing army of alts.
And that is gonna be even more significant when we can level fresh characters through WoD.

playing farmville was your choice no one put a gun to your head and made you stay in your garrison
also i doubt blizz will ever repeat how profitable they made the garrisons
No, garrisons were poorly executed and the biggest fail of the expansion. The amount of gold that surged into the game from them was horrible.
Player housing for pure fun/cosmetics would be a nice addition.
I would prefer customisable player housing that I can decorate, gather items for etc. Sadly the garrison had set buildings and there were no choices of style. The Horde one was located in a pretty horrible place.

Player housing >>>>>>> Garrisons. And I like hanging out in my garrison, so that says how much I’d want to hang out in my player housing. Especially since unlike Garrisons I could not only customise it but also make it Nightelven themed and not stuck with human buildings in the middle of a beautiful location for Nightelves.

I went Alliance for the start of Warlords until Hellfire Citadel opened then I returned to Horde. I hated the Horde garrison and the Alliance one was so beautiful in comparison. I thought it was the perfect opportunity to check out how things were on the other side. I took a break from the game and when I went back to the Horde on my return.
the alliance garrison is ruined by that eye sore called a iron horde carrier it’s a constant reminder on my alliance paladin how lazy they was in wod
Except it was the main feature of the expansion and about the only thing you could do in WoD besides raiding. But yeah let’s ignore it and free gear, tons of gold and mats it gave. Brrrrrilliant! /s

I am not that into player housing, never liked in any other games either. But guild houses on the other hand would be a great addition to the game. And not just one or two templates, but different kind of guild houses, or even garrison type of guild areas.
I miss class halls from Legion and I don’t like how they introduce some nice new features like garrison or class halls just to abandon them in the next expansion

I’m not a fan of guild housing myself, I want something I can customise.
I even miss our little farm in Pandaria.
