People with boosted characters are currently using battlegrounds to either afk for gear or to try to figure out what kind of abilities they have. Please force them into seperate battlegrounds for the duration of the prepatch so that they can figure out how abilities such as fear, dispel and flag captures work. At the moment the only deciding factor in who wins in the level 50-59 bracket seems to be who has the fewest boosted characters.
Alternatively, just ban them from joining battlegrounds for a few days after buying the boost.

As a boosted character I totally agree with separate bracket. After 15 years of experience I really know what to do but with green geared character you basically have zero impact in battleground when you face full geared people who try to farm honor cap for TBC.
Its extreme pain to try to gear up, moreover with these pathetic honor rates.
same with premades. no fun against them

Premades play the game, boosted characters doesn’t.

Oh they do, just don´t stand a chance against geared people. Just like random people don´t have a chance against premades.

i have to agree. i learnt my classs in PTR but the gear is just horrible
When you try to cast fear on a warrior four times in a row and get “immune” every time it is no longer a question of gear. It is 100% having no idea how the game works.

Boosted characters doesn’t even have ranks and lower our HKs !!
Let them play. Anyway there are boosted characters in both faction, so in both side in BGs.

I don’t think Blizzard will change anything, but I would love to see a 3 different brackets of the Battlegrounds, where 2 brackets base on item level, and the thing one is premade only, as paying out bonus honor to a team with extreme advantage seems really strange.
The only thing I don’t like about the boosted characters atm, is that they mainly stand still in AB/AV, just soaking up honor.
Their HP is also too low to take a single Pyro to the face, so they can be used to farm honor easily.
2 boosters busy leveling professions in a ab I’m in now, while people are fighting around them…
There is no reason for such discirmination
Most people who bought a boost are TBC veterans/ Classic veterans who know how to play the game
Just because people go AFK doesnt mean they just got a boost,
its just a male genetalia move wich also non boosters do
Please put your entitlement somewhere where the sun doesnt shine.
Then they need to start proving it. I didn’t really mind blizzard introducing the boost, but seeing how utter garbage many of these boosted players are I will never again do a dungeon with someone I don’t know.
Wearing gear called “Communal…” does however.

doesnt matter how good you are you will lose with green leveling gear vs full epic nax geared people.
Also bg’s are not competetive and anyone can join them, i rather have boosters in bg’s than play random vs premade.
This is still not fixed and even r14s are considered scouts.

must be great ignoring those huge issue’s and simply direct the hate toward new boosted characters cus you find 1or2 in one of your random Battlegrounds.

at least they are humans, which better than classic Phase2.5 when bg’s was filled with bots.
I see people that play for year and still don’t know how their class works. I don’t think it is a boosting thing, but it has has more to do with the amount of effort a player put into learning a class.
And if you played at the original pre-patch back in the days, you would know BG’s where a complete mess back then as well due to the talent tree changes.
