Okay so I tamed Tsulong and have him/her as my pet. the only problem is… Its so freaking loud! The noice its making is https://www.wowhead.com/sound=3014/missilenatureloop
I tried everything but I can’t turn it off. I want to hear everything except that annoying loud (windy?) noice. can blizzard please turn it off, or maybe make a option that you can turn pet noices off? yea I know there is a option for that, but more like an option that you can choose like Yawing, roaring, attacking and stuff.
Game Menu → System → Sound → Enable pet sounds.
I tried that. still making that annoying sound 
That menu option has always mystified me because it doesn’t seem to do anything. I’ve tried using it many times when frustrated by irritating ‘idle’ noises being made by my pets… but it doesn’t do a damn thing!
From my understanding that button works so that you hear other peoples pets or not.
If i remember rightly it came in after people complained about hunter pet noises in raids.
That makes more sense then. Can’t say I’ve ever noticed other hunters pet noises, so maybe that’s why 
. I just wish there was an option to shut my own the hell up.
Would it be classed under “ambient” sound in the settings? I turned ambient sound down to low because wind sounds generally can be quite irritating. Might be the same thing with this?
Just a wild guess from my side but I disabled footsteps sound through the console. So maybe there’s a variable for pet sounds as well?
