Please unlock allied race for the starter and new account

Making all races available by default would not maybe but certainly work.

Why not, but then again i would also apreciatye a reputation token that one could buy to get any reputation to exalted.

But in the other hand, when you involve real money to the mix, there comes the marketing department with their great ideas of making the grind even more hard and frustrating so that people will rather buy a token than play. Again, im not oppposed to people having an option to purchase shortcuts, but i tend not to support such because they always end up being overpriced and also negatively affecting gameplay.

They should make the allied races at the very least unlock after your first toon hits max level. Not point gating these behind pointless grinds for new players, id have no objection to just unlocking them at the start

Ofc if / when new are added these can be gated

Yes. Locked in the expansion in which thera er introduced is OK. They’re a new thing, exclusive to existing players … yeah, that can be appropriate.

But then, they need to become available.

Ummm. Everyone gets Cardboard Island followed by BfA now. Personally, I think those are bad choices. Cardboard Island doesn’t root anyone in the world, history, and culture of their race. BfA is not a good start to the game, especially the dungeons.

So where is the space to give Allied Races starting zones?

When new Undead are deprived of Deathknell and Night Elves of Teldrassil, where do starting zones for Lightforged Draenei come from?

In principle I agree with you; every race should get a starting zone. But when starting zones are removed for everyone else beginning newm then what?

I don’t play any dumb quest line on level 50 to unlock a goblin, they join horde late HOW come is diferance for the smelly nightborn.

If you would have read my comment properly you wouldn’t have to ask that question.

I have said this before and I will keep repeating it, UNLOCK THE ALLIED RACES FROM THE START. I have seen a decent amount of people come into WoW t play a certain Allied race and then quit once they realize that they need to level up a character they do not want to only to unlock and level up from the start the character they originally wanted.

Speaking as someone who did unlock the ARs while they were current content and there was a rep grind attached to it (not like that means something anyway), I do not feel special that I did the unlocks nor do I want people(especially new players) to go through that.

I like you post, you are smartbrain!

Alliance almost-High Elves and the Vulpera saved WoW
Confirmed? :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

I have seen a problem that Questing in Suramar requires lvl 45 but She can’t do their quests

Vulpera at 30 (Now)

Mag’har and dark iron dwarves at 50 now? (I did the quests with them before exalted reps at lvl 120 anf then reached Exalted)

So I want to agree with OP. Allied races must be free and no requiring their whole quests. They should be free, Same with the core/original races like Gilnean or the Wolf race worgen and Goblin and blood elves

I never said that. I said that people wanted to play any one of the Allied races only to realize that it’s locked and it requires another near max level character in order to unlock them and then level them again.

Also when it comes to Void elves and desert vermin…

Void elves-3.55%
Vulpera-2.82%

These numbers are not saving anything.

A lot of them are locked behind level gates. Makes it even more stupid. I unlocked Nightborne in Legion and the only “grind” was doing the Withered Army quest and going through Suramar 100%.
My wife couldn’t even start questing Suramar before level 40. Which meant we wasted tons of xp because you don’t get any when doing the Nightborne unlock. You quest through all of Suramar for lousy 2 levels.
The same goes for Zandalari and Kul’tiran. Both are locked behind the war campaign. Which means you have to be level 45 (which is the point you end up getting XP in BfA)

So you not only grind without flying, you additionally grind for “no xp”.

And the whole campaign and story isn’t even a good questing or story experience, because you get bombarded with spoilers. If you are level 30 too early, you get spoiled that all the quests you do for Zandalar right now end up in King Rastakhan being dead and the Prophet is a traitor. The same prophet you follow around in your quests.

And to that entitled gnome warrior, that tries to tell me how hard he worked since MoP to have all that, I just have /facepalm for you.
If you think you grinded something when starting at MoP I really have bad news for you, because you missed all the grind and Blizzard donated a lot of stuff to you that you luckily never had to grind.
I really don’t understand an attitude like that. Just because you had to go 50km to school barefoot through the snow and the way to and back again was both ways uphill that doesn’t mean everyone should do it.
It’s terrible for the game.

Are you seriously comparing a mount to a playable race? Unlocking the mount does so for all your characters, unlocking the race means you then have to go on and level up a fresh character or pay to have your current one changed to that race. You are honestly being very disingenuous if you are trying to compare account wide cosmetics with something that requires you to literally roll a brand new character (or $$$) to use.

If unlocking the ARs meant that you could, idk use the barber shop to transform your Worgen into a Dark Iron, then you can make that comparison.

All grinds? I suffered so much in BFA when unlocking allied races and when they did not give us the Vrykul but they gave us Diaper tiny humans (Mechagnome) instead of Vrykul as an allied race, while I unlocked almost all of the allied races (except LFD and Void Elves and Mechagnome) It gave us so much suffering with WQ + Reps that would take over 30 days, But Nightborne and Highmountain took shorter because I had Exalted reps with them before they announced allied races, Just because 7.0 and 7.1 were fun. And again the Zandalari trolls (I don’t recall anymore but it was from all of the Zandalari zones and quests in Vol’dun, Zuldazar and Nazmir and then cruel reps and Tides of Vengeance). And then repeated to Kul Tiran Humans, their Quests were awful

And then I removed an Account in 8.3 and then went to play hearthstone (Just to see new features)

And then Returned to the game in prepatch SL just to pretend it’s Vanilla WoW by having lvl 60, but that is incorrect what to pretend
