At the very least open transfers for accounts that already have one or more lvl 70 character on Firemaw. If moving gold from other servers is the issue, strip all gold from characters moving tho Firemaw, easy fix.
I don’t think the system can be that selective.

It cant be too different from the system already in place for character creation on Firemaw one would think? You can only create characters on Firemaw if you already have characters, i think they would be able to add the same system for transfering.
Let it go down from 31k to 20k. Then maybe open Firemaw.

Yes, there is no reason to play on some other dead server. Firemaw seems to be only option for new player to have big active pvp server and its locked… Change it as fast as you can. Or merge servers like in Global, or make 50/50 or even 40/60 faction servers that are big, because Firemaw is the only one. I just bought the game and cannot play there… There is no other populated pvp server. WTF!!!

If you just started just pick #2 populated realm, you won’t know the difference because you never played on Firemaw. Firemaw isn’t that great if you were to know it: you won’t know almost anybody outside your guild and 3 hour queues will be back on prepatch + wotlk launch.

Listen, i just didin’t make any char on Firemaw before the lock, and all other EU PVP servers are dead or no faction balance. Its only live PVP EU server. Its only way to play on live pvp server in TBC CLASSIC. Thank you very much Blizzard. Now Im wasting sub time!
You want to make the queue even longer, that isn’t going to happen and doing that is selfish.
You think only one player, ie you, will move there? No you will have hundreds maybe even thousands moving, which will make the problem far worse. Get used to it, it isn’t going to be unlocked anytime soon.
Why not? you no doubt saw the posts about the queues and you should have gotten there before they locked it.

Ikr? I subbed yesterday after quiting retail months ago. Today i read on in game chat that there were no alliance on my server. I checked it and its kinda true 99.3 horde iirc. So I decided start over in a faction balanced and populated english pvp server only to find out the only one that exists is locked. All other english pvp servers are one sided or have low population.
I wonder, did any Blizzard employee ever thought about locking charcter creation to a faction when it gets past like 60% of the server population?
Anyway this was a great way to make me pay a month and play less than 6 hours before throwing in the towel.
It did stopped queue growing allright! Many guildless transferees from dying realms started looking towards Earthshaker, Gehennas or Golemagg. As a matter of fact even dying realms are now dying slower, giving some of them chance to survive up to Wrath where they might get reinforced or merged into healthy populated realms.
Spoiler alert, they didn’t from the 2019 till this day. Megarealms, mass paid transfers and boosts that enabled them were all part of the short term profits plan, apparently.
Well guess I will go back to a private server eventualy lol
Swear to god my 1st time playing wow was on a private server, played wotlk for years, never paid to play, and never had half the issues i’ve had since i came to retail and now classic. Also that FREE server had waaaaaay better costumer suport and that says a lot

I dont mind queues if i can play with friends that is returning because of wrath. And tbh Horde could use some help on Firemaw.
