I really love pvp but cant stand leveling 1-60. Having the thrill of leveling HC would make the journey to 60 a lot more exciting!
Pls allow hc to pvp transfers, but in a controlled environment.

Fully acknowledge that there are concerns with opening for all transfers, and given full freedom players will use it to bypass faction balance. However, this should be not hard to create a work around. Either
a) enable faction-specific transfer from hc to pvp. It’s a win-win, HC players that wants to go pvp after death = happy. It will also contribute to better faction balance = happy.
b) Alternatively, if the dead hc char belongs to most played faction on pvp server. Force a faction change or do not offer a transfer.

Else I fear the HC servers will be overrun with players seeking a fast track to level and then tranfer.

No, you don’t.
You want easy life without ganks to 60.

Of course you cannot transfer to PvP.

you can use the harcore addon and play by the hc rules on the pvp server.

I would love it if it was possible to play Hardcore, then transfer to PvP.

Mostly because I’m tired of leveling 1-60 with my eyes shut, while I’d love to experience TBC arena once we get there.

Meaning I wouldn’t have to level twice to get ready for TBC really. Level cap, transfer time etc would be “punishment” enough I recon?

Good idea. Yes, I might do that. Although, it would not give the same thrill as there is no “real” penalty when my character dies.
My goal is to push as far as possible in HC, including raids. Then transfer off and do other end game content I enjoy (pvp). To play as a HC char in raid but on pvp server would probably not realistic :confused:

I wonder why they decided not to open up HC transfers to PVP? Especially considering that they allow you to do it on era.

Really annoying. I love hardcore but I also want to be able to end up on PVP if I die.

So you wanna level in peace from 1 to 60 with no one to kill you and then transfer PVP and gank everyone levelling. Great plan, sorry, nope.

HC is far from “in peace”. Most people won’t even make it to 60.

Also, this is how it works on era.
