The last time someone said people were cheating in plunderstorm their “Evidence” was a video of them losing a 1v1 because they were keyboard turning.

Also that’s how ban waves are done for a reason. The goal isn’t to ban players as much as it is to hurt the ones distributing and making the bot software. You ban on a case by case basis the bot makers learn they’ve been detected and adapt faster. You ban 6 months of players at once, not only do they not have any idea what specifically they need to fix in order to go undetected again, they also have 6 months worth of angry customers.

It’s kinda like how we don’t blast every tiny infection with antibiotics.

If anyone wants to report cheating either use in game tools or the email address. Do not post exploits or cheats on the forums.

Idk man I’m just playing the game. On a 5 win streak rn, this new barrage thing kinda wrecks.

Not seen any cheaters myself

Joke of a reason, bots are back within a week after them ban waves rendering those “studying” of them pointless to say the least, meanwhile those botters racked in all that money to buy the next bot update with the banwave having negligible impact on their earnings.

Want effective means? Remove them before they can turn a profit…

But as far as I see it, Blizz intentionally doesn’t ban them on the spot because those botters are still accounts subscribed to the game giving Blizz money.

That is C++ code for computing the factorial of a given integer ‘n’, i.e. n!. It won’t compile, though because the #include statement is incomplete. Either way it is complete BS.

People hacking - load of rubbish. More like some kids annoyed at losing so they’re convinced someone must be cheating.

Imagine hacking in Plunderstorm. :joy:

I haven’t seen any hackers honestly, it’s been fair and square.

Do we have any benefits like leaderboards, hard to get titles or mogs, player power, or literally anything that might explain cheating in Plunderstorm of all things – an activity usually leading to permanent bans? I am literally the worst player and I am swimming in currency after two days of casual PvEing.

Hoe are you doing that mon?
I can’t seem to find the right talents

Getting a clean start in a relatively low population area and staying out of people’s way til I feel strong or just out level people. I like going for slicing wind early game because it’s a secondary mobility tool. More mobility means more ground you can cover and you just get more xp / see more of the map for powers. In mid game I start looking for things like shield, lunar bombardment, bulwark, etc and working towards a late game build. You can also go full aggro with something like Windstorm, Lava axe, bombardment, and quaking leap and just try to combo people out. Leap mini stun → Windstorm → bombardment → axe / shield is basically a kill.

The most important thing is mobility early. Prioritise it more than anything else.

The other thing you can do if you fancy yourself good at early game fights is be the last man standing in hammerfall. Usually there’s 3 people there including yourself so if you pick your moment and wipe out the other 2 you get an extremely strong start and you’re far enough out you can grind levels in peace for a good while.

Interesting. Thanks for taking the time to reply.
I consider myself pretty damn bad in this storm.
But always willing to learn!
