Stop the changing/censoring of old content of a fantasy game like it has some bearing on real life - IT DOESN’T. This makes me not want to play the game; you make changes, a lot of players see them, and immersion of the game gets lost every time it happens. You are spending a lot of time on what is factually a waste of time when there are so many other issues at play.
The length of time it took to write that blue post, have it spell checked, and get it approved by 5 different PR managers, could have been used on something actually useful instead of ******* off your customers. I’d love to be able to see the statistics on who wants this stuff changed, cause I would bet it’s no one other than some mindless justice warriors.
I am getting closer and closer to leaving this game, again, like I did before. WOTLK - if it happens - will likely bring another bout of paid in-game items, on top of more idiotic “censorship” changes to a fantasy game. Do you actually want anyone to play your game? Because it seems like you’re trying to push people away, not bring them in with this inclusive nonsense.
I said a good while ago I was never going to post on this feedback forum again because it seems to be a total waste of time, but since Blizzard customer support doesn’t take feedback from customers, here we are.

Instead of doing these dumb changes that barely anyone cares about. Maybe you should try fix what is happening internally in your company. You know dealing with the touchy touchy people. Setting up better guidelines for your staff and so on.
There must be a good reason Blizzard went to do these changes. That cost resources and I doubt they made this decision just because.

Cant agree more with OP , its a GAME , u dont like what is being done in the game so be it and either play or leave, ur not forced to play it and making changes to “history of the game” will change nothing… whats next ? someone does “/emote spits violently on xxxx character and laughs at them” /game master insta bans and removes their account ??? is that whats going to happen , will game master now monitor all ingame chat / emote chat and ban people being ticked off by obnoxius PLAYERS since thats what it comes down to , its not the EMOTE system its the players and u can NEVER change a persons behaviour nor should you have to considering its freedom of choice in the world i belive (not ingame world but irl)
Just find it kinda “sad” that the great history of the game is being shuved under the rug and “cleaned” … should we do the same IRL … remove all reference to WW2 and WW1 and other historical war´s / Events because some SJW thinks its offending them even though they never experienced it and wasnt alive when it happen…
ah well … its not blizzard i belive that has chosen to do this , its their overlords and masters Activision that is behind the decision to ERASE parts of the game because some 20-30 year old is crying themselves to sleep over a video game

Unfortunately this 15 year old content can be seen as not PC enough by some parties. This means that Blizzard most likely should keep an eye for this content as they are under a magnifying glass to begin with due to their horrible sexual harassment scandal. I wouldnt blame Blizz for this, I would blame the PC culture for existing on such a degree.
I dont care who they are on a personal level, I want to know if it has been justified, or if this is them trying to fix their real life problems in a game. Them being blizzard before you snowflake out on me
Justification is a matter of perception. Same thing can be justified to you, but not to me or someone else.
We are all different, it is only a matter if someone can tolerate it or not.
I dont have issues with companies making content thats PC, but as a historian i have big issues with them trying to change the past by altering the old content into more PC.
So them changing the npcs in wow classic is a big nono for me, cause classic is supposed to be a museum, and when you go to a museum, you expect to see how the world was at the time, not how modern developers would have liked it to be.
Usually China, Blizz are total simps for China, though I wonder if that’s going to remain with the video game ban (basically) for kids over there. China are very strict with media.
If you want the SJW/PC take, no one is complaining about the suggestive women in this ancient game, and Blizzard did some very questionable decisions back in the days with achivements including placing bunny ears on female characters of each race above level 18. Some lewd on a wall, no one cares.
