Pointless to engage rogues in world pvp

If you are winning a fight against a rogue, they just vanish and it is impossible to get them out of stealth, unlike the old days. Therefore it being absolutely pointless to engage a rogue in world pvp.

It would be nice if we got an item, perhaps purchased with marks of honor, similar to Net-O-Matic 5000, that would drastically increase your stealth detection for a while in war mode only. This would also greatly help against stealth classes that have a bounty on them. Right now, the refresh rate on the bounty icon is too low to be able to find stealth classes.

While that is true both you and me have a magic thing going on where we can teleport to our garrison in 2.5 sec beating even mass dispells for the cast . So this is something regarding paladins aswell how many times have you tried to smack one and saw him just tp out .

A rogue can only do this if they have a way to drop debuffs, since most DoTs will knock them out of stealth after their five seconds of Vanish stealth fades. So if they have Cloak up, they can escape, if they don’t, they’ll pop right back up after trying to flee. So the thing you should be aiming to do is force them to pop Cloak so they can’t escape, and make sure they always have a DoT on them.

Well since original poster are a paladin… Well they don’t have DoT’s outside of specific traits, unless i missed a pvp talent somewhere. Besides rogues don’t have stealth they have invisibility… :laughing:

I know it’s a seperate mechanic, but heck if I’d believe someone could “sneak” up on me untill about 2 yards from me, in the direction i’m facing in broad daylight before their even slightly visible. Their like super space ninjas from planet OP and it’s just getting worse and worse each expansion.

I know there is stealth detection pots to get hold off, either in pvp reward crates, i don’t know if their buyable at the honor merchant(the ones you buy patterns from). But they sort of double the range and you might spot them before they sap/cheap shot you :rofl:
