Policy Update for Input Broadcasting Software

About 25k zin’s on AH last time i checked a few months ago.

How many multiboxers does it take to have that?

I gathered about 200-400 zin’s in 1h i think, so a 10 char multiboxer gets 2-4k per hour, or maybe more.

So what… 10?

And these bots, what are they using to gather eh?
Oh yeah, this type of software.

Zin is a bad example, if u look at actual graphs, the demand was always higher, if there were no multiboxers, the price would have been insane. This is just blatant “multiboxers flood stuff” argument

You just suppose those 25k zins were gathered by multiboxers. You have zero reason to suppose that. As I say, multiboxers are rare and their share in gathered materials is likely not even 1%. Your realm might have had no multiboxers playing in the past week, for example.

Zin’s started out at about 160g… and then after the multiboxer nation attacked they were barely worth 20g.

So yeah, it does matter. Normal players farming matters more when there are less.

No, different type of software. That adjusts after every banwave.

Yeah, now imagine if there were no multiboxers and more and more people start raiding. The price would have skyrocketed. You have zero idea what u are talking about in terms of multiboxing and what effect it has on the game

Ah yes, would love to buy 3000 zin to craft pots & flasks at 160g each

And yet when i tried to gather a few months ago i saw 2-3 multiboxers regularly each day. I could barely get new herbs and they cost a lot less so i quit gathering as it wasn’t worth my time.

All of them were druids, and i even disrupted one with the N’zoth toy to make them my enemy.
It wasn’t a bot mind you, it was a player.

Whole thing is, botters were heavily abusing multiboxing and broadcasting key software too. Now they can just ban for it without having to try and verify ‘is this person just a regular multiboxer?’

And that’s good for me, price of zin’s going up.
Means i am getting more gold per zin gathered. A bigger investment on my time spent gathering.

Then don’t, there are plenty who have the funds to buy that.
Guilds are stocking up on mats always.

Cool, you even say it yourself - you saw that a few months ago and it was memorable enough to remember a few months after. That’s a definition of a rare occurrence. That’s exactly what I am saying. Multiboxers are rare. Their share in materials gathered is miniscule.

It is extremely small compared to many things u could do in the game with one account. People who find herbing as their main income lose out on tons of gold.

They were not rare man, they were there daily.
That’s not rare.

Bots use different software.

Really not. When a multiboxing group can farm out 3.4 mil in raw gold and mats in one night from mob farming. Multiboxing used to be rare, now I see… at least 5 a day. 10 sometimes, especially in classic.

Bots use some of the same software actually, if you would check their forums and educate yourself on the matter.

I have plenty of funds to buy anything I want in this game so that’s a non issue for me.

The issue is going to be for all the raiders who work a lot and won’t have time to farm either gold or mats who will be punished and be forced to buy tokens to sustain their raiding consumables.

Not every guild has several millions. They should, but they don’t

I’m not hoarding gold for some million and hundreds of gold mounts.
When i’m gathering i’m doing it as going off-track when i’m doing dailies.
And when i feel like gathering i go a few times per week and spend 1h.

List here what are there things that will make me rich with one account.

You yourself said “a few months ago”. If they were “daily”, you’d have said “yesterday”. QED
