Multiboxxing has grown from the harmless occasional person playing two accounts at the same time to thousands of people playing 30+ characters and massively influencing PVP and server economies for the worse.

I play 3 accounts with 2 characters on follow sometimes to do world quests and old dungeons for transmorg, so this will be ok? I’ve never used isboxer.

I lost count of the amount of multi box druids or multiboxers with the goblin flying mount that allows gathering while mounted. They had anywhere from 15 to 30 in flight at a time lol

Finally! Wish it had been done before classic release, seeing how much it was used to level bot groups for dungeons. Finally, no more herb nodes just completely gone if you ran behind a multiboxer.

This change is to deal with multiboxers who automate play of the other characters who are following them.
If you are MANUALLY alternating between each client window and doing your own key presses in each one you’re fine.

It states specifically the use of third party software Baltic, so if you don’t use any software then I would imagine it would be okay.

You need to hit the requirements for Trust Level 3
Trust Level 3 — Regular
Regulars are the backbone of your community, the most active readers and reliable contributors over a period of months, even years. Because they’re always around, they can be further trusted to help tidy up and organize the community.
To get to trust level 3, in the last 100 days…
- Must have visited at least 50% of days
- Must have replied to at least 10 different non-PM topics
- Of topics created in the last 100 days, must have viewed 25% (capped at 500)
- Of posts created in the last 100 days, must have read 25% (capped at 20k)
- Must have received 20 likes, and given 30 likes.*
- Must not have received more than 5 spam or offensive flags (with unique posts and unique users for each, confirmed by a moderator)
- Must not have been suspended or silenced in the last 6 months

Blizzard is closing the multiboxer loophole and botting just received a tremendous blow.
I honestly didn’t think I would ever see this happen.
Next step? Crack down on selling boosts for IRL cash.
