I am a new player and I have a few questions about wow in general.
I hope someone can help me with this
I am playing war within. I thought I got a portal scroll to dalaran. But I cant find that portal item. Where can I find it? I was looking on youtube. But cant find it under spells,toys, pets or whatever…
When I am in a city its hard for me to remember where the portals are to other cities, where merchants are, bank, or to repair armor.I thought that the add on ‘handy notes’’ was the answer. But in the city I still cant see any icons on the map. Is there a way to see where is what ?
If you were given a scroll it should be in your bags or it will be attached to a quest you were doing in which case you can often also see it in the objectives list on your right hand side of your screen, if you are tracking the quest.
If you open your map (press M) and click on the ! mark it will show you the map legend.
When you scroll down in that list, the bottom part shows movement, so the portal rooms/teleports are usually show with the circle with four points. You can see it on the orgrimmar map towards the bottom of the city.
When you are in a city you can ask guards for directions to things as well, they’ll put a marker on your map for you to navigate to.
the scroll name is teleportation scroll and description will say :" quest item : teleports you to silithus "
and as puny said it will be in your bags inventory
