How do i know which portal leads where? like someone told me “they have names on it duh” but i can’t see the names… do i have to press smth? also as a mage, can i learn more teleport spells? if yes, where and how?

If you hover your mouse over the portal there should be a tooltip stating “portal to XYZ”.

You’ll gain more portal spells at specific levels, usually you’ll need to talk to a portal master in the main hubs.

You learn portals and teleports from portal masters, these are close to mage trainers, and like somebody mentioned earlier, when you hover over portal you can see it’s direction on the bottom right screen, like “Caverns of Time Portal” etc.

Maybe you need arrow pointers as well and checkpoints like in COD too? Or do you want someone to guide you like a little baby trough all of the game

What wonderfully constructive and helpful addition to the debate this is. I’d like to know what a ‘baby trough’ is, is it something baby farm animals eat from ?

As for he portals, you need to go see a portal trainer and they can teach you new portals.

I believe that if you don’t get a tooltip when mousing over a portal then that means you don’t yet qualify to use it, usually because it’s to a zone you haven’t unlocked yet.
