I really like all the new stuff we got just one things blizzard.

After unlocking everything in our “main” covenant, most people had their hearthstone there mainly cause of the portal. Now after changing covenants, not only does the hearthstone resets to oribos, but we kind of lost the functionality of the portal.

I would really like to see another portal added in the enclave for every covenant after you have unlocked rank 3 for the portal network.

P.S. Also please save the last soulbind we had when changing, always resetting to the first one is kind of annoying. But great patch overall.

That’s what the Oribos Flight Master is for…

That’s like saying there’s no need for Oribos portal in the covenant sanctum because that’s what the sanctum flight master is for…

You might not appreciate saving time by skipping the flight altogether, but the minutes spent flying is getting old for everyone else.

Well, one of those has a 2 minute travel time, while the other has just a loading screen.

Also apart from the time travel part, there is just the fact that the current design sucks compared to what we had in the past.

Past 2 expansions we had easy “travel” between our hubs and the capitals. In legion we had portals from dalaran to our class order halls, in BFA we had portals from Boralus/Zuldazar to capitals.

This expansion instead, we had to spend resource (good thing now it is easier) to get portals from our hubs to oribos, but ONLY one way. It felt KIND of ok, but now that we cannot have our hearth stones in our covenant sanctum, it is like we lost that convenience.

I just feel that putting portals in oribos to covenant sanctums (if you had unlocked the rank 3 teleportation network with said covenant) would be a great QoL change.

well now the same portal from the covenant base to oribos land us on the second ring
(before the place you jump to the maw) instead of the city entrance with the portals

Can anyone tell me how i can get to the Maw WB now without walking there as i still can not find a portal or FP unless it is rep bound.

switch to engineering as a profession and make the wormhole transporter. You won’t regret it. All my ‘mains’ have switched to engineering just to use this one device.

If a few minutes of time in game is that valuable, it says more - to me - about the player than the game. How ever did you get on before you got Rank 3 Travel Network, n/m Shadowlands flying…?

There are times when I enjoy relaxing on a flight route from one place to another, but these moments are the best when I am not forced to travel using these flight routes every day on all chars. The more portals and fast ways of getting around, the more enjoyable are the slower options when I actively choose them because I feel for doing do.

I would wish for some portals irl also, to skip some car driving

Would be a really cool idea. In the meantime if you pick up Shadowlands Wormhole Generator you can teleport to any Shadowlands zone. The toy is only 15minute CD also

In my opinion, what should happen is… if you have your hearthstone set to a covenant home point, it should move to the new covenant home point when you change covenant, rather than resetting to Oribos.

That said… its a small thing considering the amount of restrictions we have had lifted regarding covenant switch so it’s a small price to pay.
