Positivity thread - again!

In a case of putting my money where my mouth is reviving this thread.

Can’t even find the old one weirdly.

Anyway what are people enjoying about wow or any other thing.

Im still really liking midnight generally and delve system is still great.

I will give some credit where its deserved
its cool they didn’t invent a new metal in Eversong woods.
Its still copper and silver
Also the lynx and other mobs are smaller which is common in low level zones.

The zone feels like it maintains some cohesion with its TBC counterpart.
although it feels shorter in certain places.

I’ve thought the same and while I’ve not checked, I think it’s that flying makes the zone a lot easier to traverse. We had 200% speed in old Eversong, we have up to 800% with Skyriding now which is the sort of statistic that would probably explode a 2005 era WoW player.

I do agree though that they’ve really managed to nail the feel of modernizing TBC aesthetics, which in turn has given me an appreciation for how strong the art direction of TBC dungeons were - that new Magister’s Terrace and Windrunner’s Spire can feel like they are a part of the modern game without diverging from the pre-established aesthetic of WoW’s first expac.

While rushing to complete my weeklies before reset, I learned that hard mode prey is not nearly as difficult as I had feared. Got some good gear and upped my delve difficulty. Loa bless.

Honestly, you should stop eating money. It’s bad for the economy.

Kidding aside, I have always felt that I always loved Eversong Woods especially when walking into it for the first time in TBC. But in Midnight? I feel like I have fallen in love with the zone all over again. It’s sooo good, and I love it a lot! The art team really, really, REALLY outdid themselves this time! :dracthyr_heart: :dracthyr_heart: :dracthyr_heart:

Mining and smithing feels better than TWW, so far. I think squashing material/gear Quality is the way to go, and ideally they’d do that more. As was said, it’s nice to see existing minerals re-used, too.

The cosmetic and Blood Elf mogs are also 10/10. Yum.
Also, HD Dragonhawks. My beloved birbs.

Edit: actually, just HD Silvermoon. It’s gorgeous, I love it, I love flying over it and Eversong and Zul’Aman. Hell yes.

Love the decor, love the zone, love the city, love the sidequests and main story of Eversong and Zal’aman, love the mounts, love the transmogs.

Ngl, I love almost everything about new Silvermoon, Eversong and Zul’aman!

Love the fact the Void Elves actually get some lore surrounding them to make them stand apart from the Blood Elves! Especially in the Voidstorm.

I even love the aethestics of Harandar and its music! (still don’t like the harandar as a race, though)!

Overall, I really love this expansion.

Midnight is sooo great. Haven’t felt this enthralled by zones since Legion. I remember back in 2007 whenever I was hanging out with my cousins I would borrow their accounts for like an hour at a time before I had my own just so that I could try and play a blood elf and experience and explore Eversong Woods. I played WC3 before WoW so it felt so surreal to me to see the devastation the Scourge campaign actually wrought upon Quel’Thalas. It’s so cool to get to relive some of those memories again.

The new blood elf armor and mounts are just gorgeous. And whatever Blizzard are setting up with Lightblinded wrath has me really excited.

Midnight peak
So peak

Side note I got emailed about my Pokemon Centre order, it’s been shipped out and hopefully will arrive on Friday once Royal Mail gets it. :folded_hands:

Midnight has me leveling primarily via ground mounts. That’s how good the zones are - at least so far. Harandar seems quite vertical in terms of topography however, so that might be wyvern-time.

But yeah, Midnight is damn good so far!

The change of marking your Groups for things like Learning, Relaxed, Sweaty, and Bots. has reduced my grouping anxiety tremendously. A Solid Systems change in Midnight.

On top of that, I love the risks they are taking with the story. makes me very interested in what’s to come in 12.1 and 12.2 hell i cannot wait to see how they will materialise The Last Titan.

New Eversong is gorgeous, modern, but it kept the TBC charm. Zul’aman was a zone that always existed but was never accessible. (the Zul’aman instance is surrounded by a forest. now we finally entered that forest)

Midnight isn’t perfect no WoW expansion is. We’re also in the early days of the First season. more story, is to come.

Oh and Thank you art department for a Sunwalker armor. we been around since 2010.
now just update our kodo xx

i watched the final season of the owl house a few weeks ago and it has to be my favorite show by far, highly recommend to anyone if they havent seen it yet

Watched Witch Hat Atelier last night.
at least the first 2 episodes

I liked the manga and the world and seeing it now in motion, its pretty.
The color pallet, the designs, the backgrounds, it all gives me studio ghibli vibes, predominantly hals moving castle.

Howl. Howl’s Moving Castle.

Positivity - the OG book is still wonderful

For some strange reason I was dead set on it being called Hal and google DID NOT correct me when I went to double check if I was spelling it correctly.

I’ve discovered that a worgen druid’s Astral Form no longer forces worgen form. You assume worgen form when entering Astral Form, but if you cast Two Forms after that, you will be in human astral form. You will also shift to human astral form when leaving combat with Calm the Wolf active.

HBO Max has arrived in the UK so I’m finally catching up on a few shows from over the years that I couldn’t be bothered getting via maritime methods.

Binged all of White Lotus over the past week whilst working, and finally getting into Band of Brothers today.
