I find it weird that I cannot find a document on this on the web, about how exactly the Postmaster loot-mailing works, i.e. what rules it follows.
If your items drops from chest - always loot chest … That’s only rule I know.
It used to be all items not looted sent to mail. Which was a nice boost to random questing goldmaking. As trash generates quite an income over time. Plus you didn’t have to worry about NOT looting some rare item /mount etc…but the npc drones complained and it was scrapped
Now I don’t know. I seldom get Grey loot. Boss loot from lfr drops sometimes and is mailed… Weird? Idk
Its hard to say a lot of conflicting issues.For instance the Soundless mount for Nazjatar people have a habit to join a group get the tag and log out on a defferent character cause they get the tag,but even that when you look on wowhead,there is alot of conflicting issues.I on the other hand will just say i never got something like a BoE or usefull stuff since i do not deem it a reliable source.
