I understand these forums are more for Customer Support, however I have no idea where else I can vent the sheer frustration being experienced by this. Since this is also more an idea/feedback rather than a bug, I figured this may be the best place to report it.

Please, please, please can improvements be made to the Postmaster system. It is beyond frustrating the amount of times the Postmaster will mail me grey items, that I cannot do anything with, that serve 0 purpose other than being a fantasy commodity and can only be sold to a vendor.

The frequency at which I go to a post box, open all my mail and then immediately mount up to vendor all the greys you just sent me is so beyond frustrating it’s unreal.

Please, please, please, stop sending greys via the Postmaster system. It’s ridiculous. It’s mundane and tedious at this point. The problem is only amplified 5 fold in 8.2 because you’ve felt the need to make every mob in the new zones drop a hoard of different items.

To make it worse, the mail isn’t even delete-able, what is that about? Like god this is so frustrating. Please make improvements to this.

Might be frustrating for you but i’m happy with the greys, they make for a lot of gold earned, so i want the greys i missed looting in my mailbox.

The improvement you can get is get a mail addon that lets you open all without having to click every single mail in your inbox.

I absolutely love that I get all my missed junk in the mail, it’s free gold.

This is such a dumb thing to be frustrated about, being mad just for the sake of being mad.

postmaster is one of the literally best things that have been added in the game in recent years lmfao stop whining

I WANT the grey items.

I guess an option to opt out of getting greys could be a thing, but I don’t want the postmaster to stop sending me lost greys.

I also agree that I like having postmaster send me grey items, but perhaps it wouldn’t be such a bad idea to make it somewhat optional (e.g, allowing disable for grey items, or items under x gold value, ect)

Free gold is always nice! Sometimes i even got an item i missed to loot.

I don’t mind the grey items but it does amuse me that the postmaster has gone out of his way to return them to me. I’ve seen his mail room. It’s a mess!!!

I loot my mobs so i never get gray items in the mail. But if i missed something gray i would be very happy to get them. Postmaster does send me time to time some loot that i tried to pick but for some reason didn’t quite grab well enough (things from chest and such). I do aprechiate this and send him christmas card every year.

There’s a reason why it’s called vendor trash.

While it is a bother to pick this stuff it it does provide you with a fair amount of gold. There’s probably 10,000s of gold you’ve missed out on over the time you refused to pick them up. Since legion at least you’re talking about 1g per grey in that expansion.

I believe there is an addon to simply destroy the grey items. Problem solved.

I just don’t get it why someone would destroy them, it’s like destroying gold! I know some people are filthy rich but still…

Yes quite a long time I made one. JunkRemover, destroys any grey items you loot.

As for postmaster, every grey item is money, and you can’t never have too much money.
