For me and many others it’s very simple: T3 was gone before with only getting extremely lucky and spending too much gold as a means to obtain it. Now it’s back in a way that gives us a reason to go into naxx again.
Not on a vendor, not in the trading post, but in a way that gives us stuff to do.
Because them bringing back T3 doesn’t come at a cost of a new raid tier? If you use that logic you’d have to be angry every time blizz reuses older assest, zones, items…
10.15 will give us enough new content anyway for an ‘in between’ patch so why would I be pissed that it’s reusing older raids or crafting? New tiers will always come. I’m happy I can get T3 now.
If you dont have a t3 i feel like your opinion is worthless.
Of course you are going to say “who gives a f…” and demand to release the pixels. Same goes for old mounts
Warrior tier 3 still rocks, I dont have it and im fine with it. Its a prestige item atm and no one gives a f… how the person acquired it or how much money they spent. Its rare so it means it “shines” extra among other sets.
Having an opinion that it doesn’t matter is fine, but a lot of folks are trolling here and cant accept that a person values rare pixels:D its human nature to flex, lets not pretend otherwise. The game was built on flexing bro’s
They obviously have enough devs this time in DF if you take look at what speed they produce new content… it just seemed to me kinda funny when people used to get mad everytime when they recycled some old content before but now in this speciffic case, when it comes to unique/rare and most wanted T3 sets that many people dont have, its suddenly ok that they recycle old content…
Not having this set and not being bothered if it returns is not the same as having an opinion that these sets should return regardless of their prestige value.
I’ll contradict myself and say that of course Its fine to have an opinion unless the person is trolling, which a lot of people are doing on these topics just so they can trigger some perceived “gateteeping elitist”
Absolutely. You got me with this one. The perfect counter argument lol
I just feel bad for the T3 owners that went out of their way to collect the set thats all. Like i understand their opinion, but most people posting here only invalidate the effort to collect the set as if its nothing and calling people clowns for caring about “rare pixels” as if that hasn’t been a thing in WoW since launch lol
I’m not too angry about this. My warrior is a OG T3 set owner. Now I can gather the ones for other classes too I suppose. The Mage one I did get from the Black Market.
It was invalidated the second they added it to the bmah How is throwing gold at something a more valid way to earn that “prestige” than playing the game to collect it?
It wasn’t long ago certain defenders of prestige were “trolling” another poster with Jewel of the Firelord because it was added to the trading post and the other poster was mad they had lost their “prestige” from buying it on the store
A lot more people bought the jewel than have a T3, thats a much larger pool of potential whiners plus there is zero prestige in it even if it was removed. They only must be crying because we spent like 10quid a pop for those helmets back in the day haha
In my opinion spending a lot of gold on an item does not make it non-prestigious. The point is that it was still rare regardless of acquisition method. Getting a copious amount of gold needed for such items is a form of gameplay in and of itself and most people are not big gold makers.
When i see a T3 wearer i still go like “damn bro, nice”
I seen a corrupted Ashbringer wearer the other day. You can tell me its only pixels but i was drooling all over that Warrior.
