Iâm not saying that this damage is fine but if Priest trinketed he could just press Fade. Since Druid used his trinket.
Wait⌠So druid convokes priest and rogue runs into convoke to die? Good strat bro.
And then one minute later priest is dead.
Depends on how well positioned the rogue is to trinket and step kick the convoke. The bigger problem is what happens once the trinket is back off cd and whoever doesnât have trinket gets blasted.
Not really. Why? Because firstly Priest used trinket and used Guardian that he can use while being stunned. Instead if he pressed his trinket he could just press Fade and have Guardian for the next go. At the same time Feral used his trinket so next go can be interrupted by Rogue.
Couple of nights ago i got smacked on the first two convoke hits by 43 + 35k, which is during 0.4 seconds or so but since you wont see the actual start before 0.1 sec due to server side / client, its 0.3 sec to react to the step kick.
Is that where we are now? âYou have 0.3 sec to react lol noob git gudâ.
Thats IF shadowstep is available also. And not all classes have ranged interrupt or shadowstep. Its not like this doesnt happen to other classes aswell (which im proof of).
Mostly, but there are many things for many comps that they can do.
Like Parry, Intervene, Leap / Step / Blink awayâŚ
You can trade defs⌠like Warlock has Dark Pact and Wall into every uninterruptable ConvokeâŚ
Itâs definately counterable. Even after 3 mins.
But Convoke is inconsistent, most good players play Necro Feral instead and thatâs why you donât see it in ladder much, so people donât really know how to play well into that.
Third season and people still struggle vs convoke? Some things just never change I guess lolâŚ
Feralâs Convoke got buffed by the trinket, so it make sense they struggle now.
Well ye, I agree the trinket is beyond stupid but at least itâs on a 3 min cd. Thatâs why I was saying that, especially because the one guy claimed the priest would be dead in a minute. In this case (in the clip) itâs pretty much the best case scenario that could have happened. Feral pops convoke and the trinket on the priest which is easily countered by trinket + fade and on the next go the rogue can easily trinket and interrupt the convoke.
Yes, I play with the trinket, I agree. There are countermeasures. Iâm just saying, thereâs a reason that they might struggle now, when they havenât struggled before, as it requires different forms of countering, other than kick, that were viable in past (at least for the opener).
But yes, youâre right, itâs a trinket slot, costs you not having Medallion, etc.
idk about this season but last season convoke feral had zero pressure outside of convoke windows. Just never trinket anything else but a convoke setup. Rotate two trinkets and you should never die.
Its actually also super easy to know when the feral does it because he always stuns into convoke so there is plenty of time to react.
idk about feral pressure outside of convoke this season tbh
If he had time to press Trinket and Guardian he could press Trinket and Fade. Isnât it?
Yes, guys i could have done alot of stuff, so could my rogue, my point is that ferals shouldnt do this kind of damage
Lmao, you donât spend 8h a day practising your reaction time at: https://faculty.washington.edu/chudler/java/redgreen.html
??? Of course you canât get glad thenâŚ
Basically guy pressed Trinket and Guardian instead of Trinket and Fade while the other one run into Convoke. Iâm not saying that damage is fine but there is counterplay. Feralâs immunity trinket has 3 min. CD theyâd have something to press for the next one.
Last season I found I would die in about 1.9s from 100-0 so both me and whoever I played with had to react in a second. My reaction is fine, just trinket kick/gouge but my partners a disc so you have to stack or i have to preevasion to survive the non trinket go. I think pre-bm may have also been enough but cant recall. Much easier with a holy mind with chastise.
Havent met a convoker yet to see how bad it is now
yes and next minute hes probably dead.
