Power Limitter 1-100%

Can we please have a power limitter for roleplaying purposes. It can have no negative side effect to the game if I am able/allowed to reduce my standard power output from 100% to less, like 40%. I wont gain an unfair advantage.

It is necessary for roleplaying on all levels. Without it the game is also too easy. And requires one to constantly play naked, which destroys the purpose of the game. With a personally customizable power limitter all these problems are instantly solved. And this game becomes a roleplaying game again. Where we can choose to experience an appropriate immersive difficulty that is suitable to our own taste. Without affecting the game or others even to the slightest.

This is the best of the absolute best, easiest, simplest, most obvious, most beneficial, most game enhancing, most enjoyable, most valuable, most rpg, addition to the game.

With a personally customizable power limitter, The entire game (including the newest expansions and max level content, INSTANTLY, becomes viable and playable again. With an appropriate difficulty without one shot kills. With such a simple game feature and implementation, we gain decades of gameplay. Without it, you throw away decades of gameplay. And including 95% of the latest expansion and content are too easy without.

Not to mention, if people roleplay, and they wanna smack a low level prisoner, it would be nice for them to not obliterate into oblivion, leaving a black hole of a void of livelyhood, that sucks the entire universe of warcraft into it, leaving you in the wake of a never ending non-existence, as your computer fries in an attempt to calculate the longest hit point numbers related to your naked character’s unarmed melee attack.

Party Sync.

The issue with party sync is that it just sets you on the same level as enemies. So it’s not fixing his problem at all. He’s complaining that the whole leveling is too easy and I definetly agree on that.

I personally wouldn’t use such a thing probably, even if I think it would improve the experience while leveling. It just feels wrong to me to purposefully slow yourself down.

I would prefer if the difficulty was upped in general by a bit. But I can still see his point and I can’t see a downside either.

Isn’t he saying he wants to be made weaker so he can RP better? Not level slower?

I understood weaker as do less damage, so combat doesn’t feel like a joke, as it is currently while leveling.

While the purpose isn’t leveling slower, limitting your damage output will necessarily slow you down.

Yeah exactly. There is no downside, only an immortalization of the entire WoW universe. It would be an instant receiving of 9 expansions worth of gameplay, plus a 90% improvement of gameplay. This feature would be so valuable and the upside is so great, and the implementation of it is SO EASY and SIMPLE, that I woulden’t doubt if they didn’t even charge 50 euro’s just for such a simple feature alone.

I understood it as hitting weaker, to do less dmg like hitting an enemy for rp purposes

I would like this but exp to be increased, So make mobs take like 10x longer to kill but increase the xp by 10x to make up for it.

Remove Chestpiece you are a DH anyway :woman_shrugging:

If there are enough RP players i would actually suggest make them scenarios and rp zones ( phased zones for that specific purposes ) with cosmetic story lines etc

you can use party sync to change levels. Wear less gear to make yourself weaker.

There is honestly no use for a power limiter in the game. Because Non- RP wise, it’s a terrible feeling to be strong, yet deal less damage and therefore no one wants it, and RP wise, you got other options available to you.

A new system needs to have more upsides than downsides to be worth the time investment. And when there are solutions to your problem in the game already, and it isn’t a very sought after thing in the first place, There’s just not any reason for blizzard to act.

I agree but not available in bfa zones.

Often the difficulty changes, and a powerlimitter scale slider would be allot easier to adjust giving much more personal control to the player.
To enjoy the solo content more fully. To allow the content to become more immersive. Believable. And credible. To once own personal liking.
As an option.
Besides, it also is more rpg, to have a powerlimitter. To give the player more freedom and personal choice in the matter. Having the freedom to strike with a softer blow.
E.G. in a sparring situation.
