Can we change the look of our shield to be more void like, I like the the look of the void shield you get from the void stone in the crucible of storms raid, would be really nice if we could get our shield to look like that instead of having the normal holy shield look.

The look can change, as the long as it remains holy spell school. It feels bad enough that our only heal is the same school as our primary damage (Unlike every other âex hybridâ dpsâŠ), at least give us something to press when interrupted to stay aliveâŠ

they could still let it be in the âholyâ school of magic, or have a glyph change it like âDark Shieldingâ or something. It just feels very weird to have void spells and holy looking spells especially that lore wise both magic schools repel themselfs
yes, i was just correcting the statement that you can use dispers when shadow locked, because you canât. funny that frost mages can still use ib / shamans astral shift when spell locked while they do have 2 casting schools.

Yh you can cast iceblock in pretty much any conditions. Dispersion should be like that, love a good âoh pooâ button
Yeah agreed, especially that its not even as strong as iceblock, but blizzard can definitly do something for it, and also give us a proper looking voidshield that doesnt get locked when shadow school gets locked by an interrupt
Glyph is the only reasonable solution from the mechanics point of view, we are already too school dependent on shadow.
And it also makes sense, itâs the same as Penance can be glyphed to look more voidy while still being holy spell.

You cannot use Iceblock when locked on Frost just like you cannot use Divine Shield when locked on Holy or Dispersion when locked on Shadow. Iâm not sure whatâs up with Astral Shift but just like the spells mentionned before logic says if you kick the right school he canât use it. Ofc donât expect a Mage to be unable to use block if you kicked on polyâŠ
100% sure I frost locked some mages and they were able to block right after. i know how school lockouts work and what to interrupt ofc Iâm not gonna waste my kick on a 25% hp mage baiting with a poly
while divine shield / dispers / shift didnât change recently regarding school lockouts I was surprised to be âiceblockedâ by locked frost mages, pretty sure thatâs something that changed with bfa as Iâve killed numerous mages unable to block back in the days. Gonna log in my 90 mage tonight and check it out
canât ice block while frost locked but you can still cold snap and ice block hehe, guess that explains it.
yeah you still get locked, but tbh, I donât mind PW:Shield to stay in the holy school as long as its appearence gets changed, the sparkly holy look during voidform just feels hella off to me( lore wise, and class design wise)
Shhhh, donât ask for a spec specific shield, theyâll take away your passive defence and tack it onto your shield instead.
I was looking at the shield from different angles the other day and if you look from above it is completely 2D. When shadow got its animations done they didnât touch the holy spells it seems. Makes me think the void shield wonât appear for priests until the holy animations get done for holy/disc.
The model of the shield you get from the âVoid Stoneâ In the Crucible of Storms raid is actually a really good replacement for our current shield model
we need less void crap not more
