I think it’s beyond time that this spell gets a graphic update or at least that they make it look purple in shadow form. This really can’t be that time consuming to code and to much to ask after after 20 years of the same crappy visual for such an important spell 
I fully agree PW shield definetly needs a visual update for both the healing specs but also for shadow form that makes it purple. The current pw shield visual looks like its stuck in the 1800s.
Nonono nono no we need first 5 more mage shields with intense grafik and theme around more elements, Blizzards favorite class sure get there voidshield bevor shadow gets it
