World of Warcraft: Blood Ties is an original prequel novel to the highly anticipated World of Warcraft: Midnight game expansion, the second chapter in the Worldsoul Saga, and chronicles the journey of Arator the Redeemer, son of High Exarch Turalyon and the legendary Alleria Windrunner, as he embarks on a journey investigating rumors of a strange glow emanating from the ruins of a long abandoned Legion base, which leads him to uncover more about himself, his parents, and their heroic legacy.
I’m so glad she’s back at writing for Blizzard. Absolutely loved her books like the story of Arthas, Lord of the Clans, Rise of the Horde, etc.
The audacity of firing her then commissioning her to write a book. I’m glad she’s going to be writing more novels for them but yikes.
And despite some flaws in the art, I am making that my desktop wallpaper click
Curious book. I guess it’s fair to say that the little family of 3 will be in the spotlight for Midnight.
It’s very odd to use Outland as the front cover, with all that Fel and Demonic stuff.
Their must be more to this than just Arator because this is where the large chunk of the Sunfury Blood Elf lore took place.
Midnight is supposed to highlight Horde territory but we have 3 Alliance characters in the art.
My hope for this game shrinks pathetically.
After we defeated Sargeras, the story of the Orcs, Draenei, Illidan, and Belves was pretty much concluded. After Shadowlands the same goes for the Forsaken. That’s why the Horde needs to have Faction Conflict to have a meaningful story now, unless Blizzard brings back Yrel as an antagonist for the Maghar I guess, or just comes up with something new that is epic.
I guess the world soul saga is kind of a direct sequel to Legion though, but it will also probably conclude the whole story that Blizzard has built up since Vanilla about the Titans. I wonder what comes after.
Horde doesnt “exists” since dragonflight. All major stories are about the alliance sofar. Thrall had like 1 questline in tww.
