My guess is that it would be correct to assume that, Drakthyr/Evokers have a starting zone which later on is utilised for max level/future content if what I’ve read/heard is true.

Even a quick google has Icy Veins saying the same thing.

www.icy-veins.com/forums/topic/67971-everything-we-know-about-evokers-in-shadowlands-dragonflight-pre-patch/

Edit: Even the shop on the Bnet client states that it is a part of the purchase for Dragonflight.

Nothing to debunk.

Why would you not need to, they are DF content so you need to own DF content.

It’s a reasonable assumption to make. New expansion stuff that was available early in a pre-patch always required having the preorder purchased.

Safe to assume, that’s how Demon hunters worked in legion

That literally describes all Wow content creators lol, it also describes all of us, we criticize the game to no end and yet we’re all still here hoping it’ll get better

i was just being ironic.

EDIT: i know my dry often dark british humour leaves much to be desired.

Truer words have never been spoken

and before someone chimes in with something about addicts, I did have short bursts of time when I played the game a lot, but I had much longer ones of not playing at all so it’s not that… I just really like the game/world in the end :smiling_face_with_tear:

Yeah… As a video game I prefer a certain other MMO by a landslide…
there’s just something about Warcraft’s world that’s fun and interesting, no matter how badly they handle the game.

Thats littarly what every gaming company would do NOT JUST BLIZZARD and its logic sense tbh

What’s there to debunk? The class is part of the Dragonflight content, and a huge selling point of it. Yes you have to preorder Dragonflight in order to try out Evoker in prepatch.

…and that was enough for me.

you will need to buy the new expansion to play evoker, Yes. the new class is always locked behind the Expansion it launched with.

I.E u couldnt make a DK Without WoTLK, you couldnt make a Monk without MoP and u couldnt make a DH without Legion. so its very unlikely we will see evoker usuable without first having DF.

the trend would be that we can play Evokers during Prepatch, They did thsi for DH, typically because ironically no headstart actually is what caused Monk popularity to be so low on launch. asking players to swap mains and try a new class behind the curve is discourgaging at best.

So yes. Its very likely for those who purchase DF you will be able to roll a Evoker in the Prepatch. However. i havent atleast read anything confirming evoker will be dropped in prepatch.

Edit2: i havent watched any of his content in a age… does he still read his scripts like a badly coded robot?

New races and classes are available in pre-patches and are playable if you have pre-purchased their respective expansions. For example, you had to pre-purchase Legion to be able to play DH and the same applies to the allied races in BFA and the monk/Pandaren in MoP.

You mean like all those other streamers, who loudly and proudly announced to have stopped playing the game and ending coverage on it last year but now release one clip after another about their beta testing for Dragonflight?..

if im not wrong DKs were useable in pre patch if you buyed (im not sure if there was) the woltk Xpac. Dhs Were useable in legion pre patch if you buyed the pre order. Allied races were useable in pre patch of BFA if you pre ordered it. i think it’s a preety safe assumption to make, and, if the “Leaks” are true, 5 weeks should be enought to make us adapt to the new class, UI etc…
