How? I’ve boosted two of my 60 to 70 in about an hour max just doing the event.
Hmm… Not sure that dude knew what he was talking about or wasn´t misunderstanding something…
In remix from L 10? easy peasy, if you´re up for “shady shenanigans”, you can even get it done in 30 minutes
In retail from 60? Easily doable, but not via the event… NHC dungeon spam+questing is the ticket here
In retail doing only the event? I haven´t tried as I don´t currently have any <70 alts on retail that warrant playing, only a L 66 bank-alt… But I can not realistically imagine it going that fast, even if the xp were on par with the last prepatch (where it was actually possible to level in 4 hours if you were a sweaty gamer that bounced back and forth through Chromie-Timelines like Nozdormu on crack 
)
That said, maybe I should try leveling the bankalt via the event, just to make sure I’m not talking out of my bum here and it is in fact possible… 
Will be max lvl in about half of the % needed for one event.
Wow, seriously? That seems way too fast to be realistic… Now i definitely have to try it and possibly edit my statement…
You just afk sit on your mount in zone with memories. Let others do the work and thats it. And since event is perma up you can just spam it. I have to say i havent see leveling ever being this dumb easy and basicaly completly unfun. You literaly level up new char by not playing at all.
Thinking back to the DF pre-patch…
That might work fine for the first 1-2 weeks until all the overgeared “regulars” have everything they want. But after that it will slow down immensely because the only people still doing it will be new players or those leveling alts…
Not saying it “will” be the case, but it wouldn´t surprise me at all if in 2 weeks we get a new influx of “fix your event” threads from players that now have to actively participate instead of afking in front of the vendor.
