Pre-patch Event after Rework is finally worth it!

Worth for currency farm, worth for alt leveling. Now its fun! Thank you blizzard for this fast rework. Happy grinding everyone! I believe in wow once again.

Anyone found out yet how the chest with the champion item behaves since the rework? Is it daily for the first character per account too, like the quest? Or is the champion gear still weekly for each character with the first event?

Are events now farmable endlessly with one character or is loot locked to once per zone?

I think the chest is one per week per char. You can farm the event endlessly while the event is active in that zone, after one hour the zone changes. You can get multiple loots, the chance is low but you can get a few drops.

Ive tried to level a level 10 char and i think its a bit slow, maybe the 60-70 leveling is faster but low levels are a bit slow (at least for me compared to Pandaria Remix xD).

i keep hearing about this alt leveling thing but when i tried it i hardly had a tickle, and i saw someone saying they heard about the huge exp boost from reddit but that dude also got tickles.

Why is it suddenly fun? It’s the same rubbish, just with more rewards.

Because now you can play it actively and not wait over an hour between events.

You are no longer locked to the 90 Min wait to farm with alts, lets you actually use the time your online fully - one rotation of the event can be “used” with several characters: that way we’re quicker done with the farm and can enjoy the rest of the game (or other things) again.

I like the changes, but the event is still unplayable with massive lag.

Can’t enchant or socket the necklace from the event.

The changes made it better but the boss fights are still miserable. Takes forever to kill because of the lag.

Big agree op, glad they fixed it quickly

Do they fixed lag?

Nope… long due they capped layers so you don’t get 3 40m raids in a given area…

I’m not sure … it’s not perfect, but it’s better than it was before.

It’s a reasonable, playable event now. Good! WoW starting bad is the standard, you can count on WoW for a bad start. WoW getting fixed later is still a rare thing, it’s good when it happens. Shame for those of us who are done farming the collectables already, but yeah, 5 minutes of playing and 85 minutes of downtime was pure animal cruelty inflicted on us poor FOMO hamsters. You second-wave kids enjoy.

sadly most people are just into rewards and nothing else.

Because it´s not a dragonflight seasonal item, that was always the prerequisite for additional sockets.l

Now am done finally today farmed all pets and mogs cya in next expack

What “xp boost”? Sounds a bit like typical Reddit word twisting to me…

Because the only thing that happened is that the XP needed to progress to 70 were reduced to keep overall leveling time similar in TWW… as a result, the xp needed to reach any given level <71 were reduced by up to 75%.

But that´s not a “boost” per se… Though it admittedly it kind of has the same effect as giving a 300% boost when the dust settles. :beers:

the crazy part was when someone asked about it in-game some dude was saying he kept seeing people dinging to 70 within 4 hours. and there was me trying it out and getting nothing :dracthyr_hehe_animated:
