I am not going to whine too much, but just a little bit, why haven’t blizzard given any date yet? I wouldn’t care if they said, in 2 months, etc, or even 3, I just legit want a date to get excited about, 8.3 is stale, boring, corruption making me wanna rip my eyes out, they haven’t even mentioned a Q&A or anything? do we even know if there is a Blizzcon live version this year? I might be the only one, but damn I just want a date xD even if it’s super long, I wanna know xC

They’ve confirmed the expansion launch will be before the end of year, that’s 3 months max. So it’s obviously 1 to 2 months away. They don’t need to confirm that, it’s a given.
Things can have changed because of Covid-19 you never know.

Problem is, if they provide a date, and for some reason they are unable to make said date, people are going to bring out the torches and pitchforks. They will release a date when they are completely sure they’re able to manage it.
It is still being tested after all.

Yeah, that is true, I guess I am whining too much about something not worthy of complaining about, hehe, I hope we’ll at least get some information about Shadowlands sooner or later.

I totally understand. Having a date makes the wait a bit easier I guess. It’s certainly better than being in the unknown.
I want a date for the prepatch too. It’s easier to set some goals when you know what you’re dealing with.

Then after September passes without a pre-patch I’m gonna tell you it’s October to make you happy.
The date I’m looking most forward to is September 1st, cause that’s when Nvidia will announce new gpu’s. After I can secure my new gpu and finally build my PC only then will I be excited for Shadowlands pre-patch.
Then of course AMD will release their new CPUs, that’s also sometime in Q4 2020. Perhaps after I secure my new CPU & GPU and build my PC completely will I look forward to the release of Shadowlands.
While everybody else was drinking & partying their money away all of 2019 & 2020, Critzer sat on his stash like a duck and waited for the opportunity to splurge on a new gaming rig, sparing no expense, no budget, the sky is the limit.

BfA prepatch was on PTR for less than 5 weeks.
prepatch comes out in september… if you are this addicted i suggest just take some time off wow and cool your head, play another game and get hooked to that, you sound a little bit too much into all this hype, it’s only a stupid game and telling you a date or not makes no difference. chill dude, be calm.
I want a release date too, but I want it because of the Longboi…

prepatch on ptr is always one month so prepatch will NOT come on 2nd september dude… chill out and stop sounding like youre doing drugs “…”
You can relax, the cap for cloak resist is on 9th of September, from that point it will be at least a week so that we can actually use the new resist cap for it to have meaning.
I’d give it at least 2 weeks after resist cap, 1 month at the latest. so it’s either 23rd of September or 7th of October for the pre-patch date.
