They have been postponing this for ever since BfA. I think the last expansion of the trilogy will have lots of mechanical units again in the new zones. It’s the perfect expansion.
Postponing? Was it ever actually a thing? Or was it just community fantasy? Because Blizzard not following community fantasy isn’t postponing.

It is postponing. The class was half ready in BfA with lots of datamined info available (skills and so on) and then they decided to put it on ice
As much as I’d like to see a tinker class, I don’t think what you’re saying is factual stuff.

I doubt it’ll be a thing
and if it does become a thing it’ll likely take a bite out of engineering (like demonhunters did out of warlocks)
and then the engineers will probably be righfully mad
a Tinker class, is a pipe dream
i would love to see a Tinker class, but i dont think they have the space for many more classes
they have to be very Selective now
this class is about as likely as necromancers … aka not at all the only place i could see it being was on the advanced features for existing classes that we saw at blizzcon like Dark Ranger
I loooove goblins and gnomes I remember back when I played maplestory there was a mechanic class with a huge mech I would looove love looove something like that in wow, especially since goblins and gnomes go SO unloved

gnome, goblin, vulpera, dwarves all the best tinkerers and smallies. it makes sense they are using their brains to overcome their physical capabilities

Sounds more like a trade skill rather than a class. But ok. I know they were around in Warcraf 3. So yeah, hope it happens. Also necromancers.
Loved the Engineer class in WildStar where it tanked or dps’d. Always wanted the Tinker class in WoW but can honestly see it never happening.

The last Titan would be the place to put it if we ever did get a tinker class.
But I wouldn’t get my hopes up.
