Premade group search addon

I’m looking for an addon that searches for a particular group, let’s say an iskar group in zereth mortis. I tend to manually search for these groups quite often, and all of a sudden there is a grp up with like 30+ players in it. And how did that happend so fast? And there is pure luck if i get into the grp before it’s full.

So i figured, an addon that searches for these groups in the background and notify me when such a group pops up. So i can focus on other things.

Is there such an addon out there?
Any recommendations is welcome.

Not possible to do that, because the game does not let addons search for group names, nor does it let them do so in the background.

Used to be a great addon in WoD that did this for us, kept an eye on group finder for you.

Blizzard has long stopped these from working.

I don’t understand why though, why would Blizzard make it harder for us to communicate with eachother? This only makes us play more solo. And noone can be arsed to join a group for a world quest when you have to type in the name or a number. Even starting a group is annoying when you have to type in the name of the quest.

And for my concern with the rares, now i have to spend a whole lot more time doing annoying and boring stuff.

was there any reason given?
considering they allow boosters to infest the LFG while ppl without authenticator can’t even set the title, I’m not sure whose side blizzard is on at this point

I have no idea if a reason was given back then. I remember using it because I needed a specific garrison invasion boss.

People were using them to clear WQs in Legion with no effort at all. That’s why they disabled auto-invite as well for WQs.
