They’re stupid and they make no sense but because Blizzard hamfists everything to make ‘sense’ in the lore, they will become a thing. Apparently Bolvar is recruiting everything now because why not.
Velf DKs are essentially fel infused void addled elves that on top of all that now receive bonus undeath. All we need now is to infuse them with the elements and make them a shaman, then we shall have the ultimate abomination.

To be fair; the undeath probably overrules the Void(or Light incase of LFD)…
So basicly they’re the same as Belf(and Draenei) DKs except for their looks.

Sure, they can be undead. But death in WoW has such little impact that it might as well mean nothing these days. But how’s Bolvar been acquiring an army of these ‘allied races’? Did he just send his minions on the battlefields of BfA and raise them into undeath and then be like “hey you serve us now lol, suffer well”. Did some of them travel to Vol’dun and just raised some Vulpera to serve the Scourge?
I guess we’ll get to see it explained but I’m still salty about it.
I mean the Void Elves are already a strange race, with their lore forced and hamfisted into the Alliance. I don’t mind them per se, I’ve seen plenty of good Void Elf players yet I’ve also seen a fair amount of the bad apples, and many people still hate them to this day. In the end, I don’t see why anyone would want to pick a Void Elf to RP a DK, out of all potential concepts you could do with them… a DK…?
It’d be difficult to pull off.
That’s exactly how the Ebons were raising new DKs during Legion, so yeah. They grabbed corpses off the battlefield, brought them to Acherus, raised them and gave them the choice - die again in battle or die again now.

if only he had some order of death knights etcetera who are all about collecting corpses for subsequent raising :^)
by the holy rule of maintaining the status quo: yes, yes it is.
Wherever it wants to be. During Legion it went to Icecrown and back to Broken Shore once or twice. Presumably it roams around a bit. DKs all death gate home anyway, so it’s not like that’s an issue.
Unrelated but I wonder if refusing to be a DK counts against you for arbiter judging. “You got given the opportunity to do some good and chose to go back to being dead? Sounds like you need a bit of Revendreth…”

They actually looked for and picked the most promesing ones, and then went from there in choicing the right ones!

Just gonna pickle here and say this could be said for almost every race and class combination.
I feel #blessed he survived, but #stressed that you want him to be a dk…
I just thought this sounded abit to much like they just grabbed every random body laying around on battlefields…
Which they obviously don’t do and they actually look for those with potential; and not just go: ‘You become a Death Knight and you and you and everyone becomes one’.
Maybe I just misunderstood both, which I wouldn’t put past me D:

So long as they don’t use tentacle hairstyles? It’s fine. Death Knights are freakishly pale in the first place, which accounts for all but two of the Void Elf skin colours.
I will admit, I think it’s an odd duck. High Elf > Blood Elf > Void Elf and then, finally, Undead Elf. I have to believe that any and all Void Elf DKs are irreparably damaged on the top floor.
Still think LF Death Knights are a stranger fit though.
I feel like vulpera DKs makes perfect sense.
They already raised gnomes and goblins, so why not?
