The pre-requisite was just doing the Harbinger quest on one character and you should get a pop up quest for Silithus. It’s a couple of minutes. Then any alts can just go direct to dalaran. If you no longer have the pop up quests you should be able to find them in your adventure journal.
The three daily quests (one in each zone) give you 9k currency total a day so won’t take you long to buy anything from the vendor.
I just did silithus quest, then finished one echo in dragonblight but i dont see dailies

When you go through the portal to the zone, there is an NPC with the new repeatable daily quest icon.
You can pick up all three straight away then do them as the zones become active if you want to grab them in advance.
Okay, how long does event in each zone last? and where can I buy the mount? Wtf is memory of northrend and how do I make heirloom ring.
I know I can google it but asking seems like less effort XD

It feels as being created by an AI bot, the rewards are so bad (imo at least). Sure, I did get them, like probably most people, but I felt the graphic design department went on a vacation.
Each zone drops memories, you need 20 each to create the heirloom ring. The event is available for 1 hour in each zone.

They shift on the hour and it’s most active for the first wave in a new zone.
Each zone (when active) will drop essence of Kalimdor/Eastern Kingdoms/Northrend. You need 20 of each to convert into a memory of Kalimdor/Eastern Kingdoms/Northrend. Then you combine those three memories with the band you buy from the event vendor. And hey presto you now have an heirloom ring.

Oh it confused me. I thought there’s 1 hour of downtime between events. I just checked map and event is active in searing jorge. that’s confusing

Each zone lasts for 1 hour, and within each zone, you’ll find an NPC offering a daily repeatable quest. The mount can be purchased from Remembrancer Amuul in Dalaran, located next to the zone portals.
To obtain the Band of Radiant Echoes heirloom ring, you’ll need to collect the following items:
Once combined, these will give you 1x Essence of Kalimdor, 1x Essence of the Eastern Kingdoms, and 1x Essence of Northrend. To craft the heirloom ring, you’ll need to purchase the Lifeless Stone Ring from Remembrancer Amuul for 25 Residual Memories.

The event remains active for the full hour, and once that hour is up, you move on to the next event.

I’d do them for the pets and mounts rather than the gear but yeah.
I guess the gear could be used for transmog but I cba to farm that much currency. It isn’t that much fun.
My gear is 463 (I didn’t bother with the last seaon) and that’s good enough for me.
I think the event gear is more for returning players who might not even have a level 70 or if they do it’s item level 280 or something.
Also could be used to level up to max either on your existing news or some fresh alts.
Pre-patch is also a chance to get used to new talents and other features so you can concentrate on the actual expansion when it launches.
It’s not as entertaining as the Icecrown Rare farm but meh.
Especially if you have level 70s already that have reasonable gear.
