So the pre-patch event is made up of doing these 3 memories and farming 502ilvl gear? That’s it?

I like the memories but you kinda do each once and then you are done - unless you go grinding.

Correct?

At this moment kinda, it’s to encourage levelling up alts, gearing up/catching up with very easy stuff. You can get great gear and bags for very little work.

I noticed a small mistake: The gear you get from the pre-patch is 480 ilvl, not 502 ilvl. :slightly_smiling_face: You can eventually upgrade this gear and convert it into a tier set with bonuses using the catalyst.

The pre-patch is designed to help gear up alts in preparation for TWW. In addition to gear, you can also obtain two mounts, three pets, and a heirloom ring.

It’s pretty underwhelming but its a good way to level.

A big improvement would be if it somehow killed all the leeches and maybe took their gear, levels and computers with it.

It should work fine but for the almost complete lack of flightstones. I have 2 characters almost completely in 480 gear, but no flightstones to upgrade them

i have to leech as a low level xD the mini bosses are like 800k health against my lv30 4000hp alt xD

Do I need to start some quest chain to be able to participate in the event? Do I even have time to get any rewards before early access launch?

youll need to farm about 150 000 memories to get everything in the vendor. if you start now youll have to grind a looooot.

youll need to to the harbinger quest and then the silithus one. then you can do them on alts without the prerequisite quest

The way i got my stuff is was doing dailies, and casually leveling everything else to 70 majority items dropped casually so i saved tons of memories on that.

I currently have 13 characters equipped with pre-patch gear, and I’ve upgraded 4 of them to an item level above 490, mainly through upgrades. I’ve only been doing LFRs and the pre-patch event to gather Flightstones and Drake Crests from the last boss.

I’m also nearly finished getting pre-patch gear for my remix characters - 14 in total. :slightly_smiling_face:
