Pressing your 2 mouse buttons is another way to move your character

Saw this tip on the loading screen today and i wondered…another way? i have been playing this game since 2007 that is how i play. isnt that the default way to play? I hope im not doing a mistake as that tip on the loading screen has given me second thoughts

Well, I mean… click to move is off by default so that should tip you off that it’s not the default way to move.

WoW’s click to move is also pretty limited, only going maybe 40yd before having to click again. I once played one of those Korean MMOs you could pretty much click anywhere visible and the character would do its best to try and get there.

I use both my mouse and wasd for movement. And i have bound strafe to the 2 extra buttons on the left side of my mouse too :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I use touch monitor and control my character with the on-screen keyboard. I thought that was the default way.

I think this mode is partly there because it can be a huge help for disabled people.

I always use the two mouse buttons to move my character too. I tried using WASD and the arrow buttons, but for me using the two mouse buttons feels way more natural. You move much more fluidly this way.

I use both, often both at once when I’m not thinking.

I use wasd. How do you move your camera then if mouse button 2 is move?

Why not Strafe bound to W/D? You’re already using your mouse/camera to turn… :o

I use both (WASD/LMB+RMB) and I also have a mouse button configured to toggle autorun :joy: When using autorun, RMB + mouse move will change the direction you are running

I use one of the sidebuttons on mouse to autorun and i also use W to go forward and Q and E to strafe. Not sure i’ve ever used the two mouse buttons to move, but most things i do i dont even think about so maybe i do :sweat_smile:

For me it is side button for autorun, W to go forward with mouse turning, A and D for strafe left and right.

I guess it gives a form of flexibility. With my strafe on my mouse i can keep using abilities easier while having to move. Healerlife; having to do stuff while doing mechanics :sweat_smile:

Its super useful specially for melee’s that can use the right hand to move whilst all the left hand to use abilities VS a moving target.

I do use it all the time, literally cant play without it xD

I’ve actually found click-to-move useful at times with extreme rubberbanding. Other than that, I’ve never used it. WASD movement most of the time, right-button for turning some of the time, both buttons for movement if I need to use the left hand for answering the phone or something.
