None of this changes the fact that blizzards argument is flawed, there is no prestige as a game, when anyone can buy gold and pay for every achievement.

I can buy any achievement, armour set or mount, itâs not a point of view, itâs a fact.
And people who do, do so because there is prestige associated with them.

If a title can be bought its not prestigious.
If it is obvious, but it isnât.
What does that even mean?
If being an Olympic athlete is prestigious, does someone else doping make the achievement for the others non prestigious? No it doesnât. People piloting aka cheating doesnât make it non prestigious.

only people that are lazy and think they are owed everything , demand everything . achieve nothing.
these type of people are why Games are becoming boring and stale.
- if you are not good enough to achieve the reward. you dont deserve it.

im glad Blizzard has put their foot down, im glad they have made a distinction in the Q&A video recently. and they acknowledge rewards are only for those that achieve it.

I think OP is just upset that he now has to pay for boosts to unlock these appearances, just that doing it because it was too easy.
Wait till they take away something you enjoyed doing. I did 450 delves solo, it was fun getting the gear. if they want to take away that fun I will take away my sub.
Some people wishing to take the easy way for something and cheat does not undervalue other people achieving these things fair and legitimately by themselves
Other people buying boost or botting or rmting or wintrading or cheating otherwise is not mutually exclusive with people also achieving things by themselves due their own merrits.

Okay letâs spell it out. The devs use the excuse âthey want it this way for prestigeâ. there is no prestige in a game where I can just buy gold and pay for any mount, armour or achieve runs.
If everything is for sale, even levelling your toon, itâs not for prestige.
What is it for? One of two things or both.
To force people to raid again.
To sell gold tokens.
